Read if you value honest reviews. I can't recommend this place to anyone, and here's why: I booked, payed, and stayed 1-week and regretted it almost instantly. I showered upon arrival, and that would be 1/3 times in 8 days that they had hot water. The couple in the adjacent room had to deal with cold showers for their full stay. This in itself is bad enough, but the other key factor - i.e. internet, was also not working in most of the rooms, especially those furthest from reception (like mine) and it barely worked anywhere else too. On one day there was no internet, and it turned out the provider had cut them off for not paying the bill.... Additionally, there is no electricity in the rooms 95% of the time. Period. You have to charge your devices via two multi portals; outside, or in reception: and this is slow given that everyone uses them and they have a severe problem with power and no generator. Excuses were made, but I can assure you that I went to two coffee shops for the duration of my stay in Gilgit, both of which had fully functioning internet and generators. In addition to all these important negatives, and though the staff were all friendly and tried to be helpful 100% of the time - they didn't seem to be particularly knowledgeable about anything. They said all the coffee shops and restaurants were closed during the day for Ramadan - and this was not correct, and a multitude of other things.... The garden was nice, and that was it - the general vive of the entire place was that of drabness and lack of maintenance. It's sad to say, but this business has been poorly managed and winter last that long. I think thst you would regret staying here.
