The view from the street onsen is unfortunately fenced off
The internal ones are open 24 hours a day

It’s up in Gora, so I have to be non biased on this one.
The location is not fantastic, but there are shuttle services ferrying you to the train station.
The buildings kinda old, and there are 2 separate ones where you have to go over for onsen and/ or dining.
Onsen is small compared to other ryokan.
Overall, it was a memorable experience for me, if not the best one yet.

The variety is good. The old man in the restaurant is very considerate. He asks the hotel every day to prepare hot dishes and meals on time. The guy at the front desk was also extremely enthusiastic. He didn't bring an umbrella on a rainy day, so he sent us to the station and gave us an umbrella.
