The hotel is really nice up in the hills, that can be a downside to having to commute through bus or taxi because the nearest convenience store is a 30min walk. Plus it’s an uphill inclined walk to get there too if your taking the bus. Overall nice stay though.

The room is large and well-equipped. There is a vending machine in the hotel where you can buy drinks and beer. You need to go to the front desk to get a key card before bathing in the hot spring. The hot spring can accommodate about 4 people. Good experience

I took the Hakone Tour Bus and got off at Kotsuka. I had to go up a steep hill and almost exhausted myself from dragging my suitcase. There were no supermarkets nearby, so it was best to drive. The hotel was quite big and nice.
