The hotel is really nice up in the hills, that can be a downside to having to commute through bus or taxi because the nearest convenience store is a 30min walk. Plus it’s an uphill inclined walk to get there too if your taking the bus. Overall nice stay though.

The room is large and well-equipped. There is a vending machine in the hotel where you can buy drinks and beer. You need to go to the front desk to get a key card before bathing in the hot spring. The hot spring can accommodate about 4 people. Good experience

The hotel rooms are large and have a simple kitchen, which is suitable for family trips. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well maintained. You can feel the thoughtful service in many details, such as three different types of slippers (suitable for bathing and daily use respectively), bathrobes and home clothes prepared for the whole family, and hand-pulled paper towels placed everywhere, which are very convenient. The public bath is a bit smaller, but it is still very comfortable to use during non-busy hours. In general, it is very suitable for tourists who travel by car with their families.

Very, very bad hotel. It takes about half an hour to get up by bus on the mountain in Hakone. The winding mountain road is very desolate around. There are no hotels. The so-called hot spring is actually a very small bathing pool of about 20 square meters. The air in the room is very stuffy. The child felt dizzy after taking a bath and came out immediately. Moreover, the original reservation on Ctrip was for three adults and one child. After arriving at the site, they said that there was only one person on the reservation form. The room that could accommodate four people was not allowed to stay. They said it was a legal regulation. They forced us to change to a super large room at almost double the price. I bought two instant noodles at the front desk for dinner that day. I walked about 30 minutes to a convenience store to buy some breakfast. The experience was terrible. This kind of hotel is only suitable for locals who drive and cook by themselves, not for foreign tourists at all.

As long as it is not the peak tourist season, almost no one will compete with you for the baths here. It feels good to take a bath alone, and the house is large, suitable for large families and groups of friends. The view from the balcony is also good, and there are enough daily necessities such as pots and pans, making it suitable for long-term living. The disadvantage is that some facilities are old and the place is remote. Only one bus can reach it, and you have to climb a 2-kilometer mountain road. It is recommended to drive. All in all, it is a cost-effective hotel with good quality and low price except that there is basically nothing wrong with it.

JR, get off at Odawara Station on the Odakyu Line, then take bus No. 243 in the direction of Togendai, get off at Tatsuishi·Hakone Gurasu no Morimae (バス) Station, cross the bridge and go uphill to reach the hotel. Togendai has a cable car to Owakudani and a pirate ship to Lake Ashi. You can purchase Odakyu's Hakone 2-3 day PASS. Shinjuku-Hakone can travel smoothly. You can also take a cable car and a pirate ship. The largest room is 80 square meters (suite area) with 6 single beds. Independent kitchen and bathroom. The hotel sells convenience foods. 200 yen per serving. The price is also reasonable. There are no hot springs on Friday morning, but there are hot springs at other times until 23:00 in the morning and evening?

I took the Hakone Tour Bus and got off at Kotsuka. I had to go up a steep hill and almost exhausted myself from dragging my suitcase. There were no supermarkets nearby, so it was best to drive. The hotel was quite big and nice.

The room is very big. I drove there by car. The price/performance ratio is very good.
