The housekeeper Yi Ren Hong 尹仁红is very friendly and helpful. She is kind and caring as well as provide punctuality service to us when we requested the laundry to be sent to us as we said time. I'll give her 100% for her service and attitude. However, the services of front desk receptionist can be improved. They lack of smiling and friendly tone of voice. For the facilities of the hotel, this is good and surprised me as provided free laundry services as compared to other hotel mostly they didn't provide .

I had a wonderful stay at the Merchant Marco Edgelake Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location of the hotel is fantastic and within walking distance of many attractions and dining options. The hotel itself exudes a charming ambiance, with tastefully decorated rooms that are both comfortable and well-equipped. I particularly enjoyed the stunning views of the lake from my room, which added an extra touch of serenity to my stay. The staff at the Merchant Marco Edgelake Hotel were also a standout feature. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests had an enjoyable experience. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. Additionally, the hotel amenities were excellent. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, I also appreciated the hotel's attention to cleanliness and safety measures, which made me feel secure during my stay. I would not hesitate to return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the area.

This hotel is conveniently located. There are all kinds of stores and restaurants as soon as as you walk out of the hotel. Best of all its less than 10 minutes from West Lake. Breakfast is quite decent as well. Staff were all very friendly and full of smiles. What was impressive was that I watched a security guard help some hotel guests clean out what I suspect was some kind of spillage in the trunk of their car. Overall, very clean, great staff and amazing value. I only gave 3 stars for service instead of 5 because people claim to work for the hotel offered a ride service for 240-300 RMB to drive us around the lake and take us to the best tourist spots. Anywhere we wanted for 3-4 hours. Free to go as we please. So my wife agreed. The reality was that he took us to one tourist spot. The rest were junk shops to sell overpriced tea, silk and other things. After the silk store we told we wanted to go to a specific tourist location and he said they were fake or didn't exist anymore. When he realized we weren't interested in buying anything he found the first available spot and tossed us to the curb. He wasted our day which caused us to book an extra day to go back to all the spots we were supposed to see.

Great location. Next to.metro and high-speed rail stations. The WiFi was very slow not sure if ti's only my room. Morning breakfast was good for that proce point that we paid.

It was confusing at first, but in general it was good experience, staff is friendly and kind. Rooms are not that big, sometimes the design of the room is questionable because in the middle of the room it was a colony and it was uncomfortable to move but overall it was good.

Good location near Hangzhou east railway station. Neat and clean rooms, check-in is a easy and fast. Friendly and helpful staff. There are lots of food choice and a supermarket. Lots of restaurants around the holiday and mall near the railway station and inside the railway station.

Great location within walking distance from Xihu, MRT station and and crowded shopping malls. However, the hotel showed its age with dim corridors and a very distinctive smell of insect repellent, typical for aged hotels. Breakfast buffet is simple traditional Chinese breakfast with a small selection of porridge, steam bun, corn, fried rice, quite satisfying if you are familiar with this kind of breakfast.

Very satisfied with the accommodation experience of this hotel! The room is bright, clean, well-planned, and equipped with advanced facilities. The service staff Xiao Lai has a good attitude and responds quickly to requests, making people feel at home. It is cost-effective and is an ideal place to stay whether it is a short or long trip. I will come again next time!

Location is fantastic as the MRT station exit is right in front of the hotel. Opposite Hangzhou嘉丽中心. 10 mins walking distance to West Lake. My hubby did his morning walk along West Lake everyday. Front desk recommended restaurant ToongDaFang (东大方) (just next to the hotel) which is good. Room is modern, clean, good size and well maintained with free minibar drinks. Will definitely choose this hotel again.

The room is quite small and smell not too good. Firstly, I got the room with fake windows which is I considered as it’s should be ‘no-windows room’ and smell not really good. I ask the hotel staff to change the room due to I feel not good while stay in that room. Finally, I got the room with ‘real windows’ and stay peacefully in the room.
