It happened to be my child's birthday today, so I wanted to book a parent-child room to make him happy. The room was very large, and the decoration was great. The dolls were not cheap ones, and the quality and beauty were outstanding. I knew it was the baby's birthday, so I gave them as gifts. A fruit plate. Across the road is the riverside, where you can see the aunts and uncles performing Yangko. There are also many cruise ships going to Sun Island. It is very close to the Flood Fighting Memorial Tower. The transportation is convenient, the hotel breakfast is also good, and there are many choices for children. We were in a hurry when we left. The child left his stuffed rabbit at the hotel and called the front desk. A girl named Jingjing found it for us in time and mailed it to us immediately. The service was excellent. Let’s talk about the not-so-good part. Because the window faces the atrium, you can’t open the curtains. People on the opposite side will see that the lighting in the room mainly depends on lights, but the lights are also provided by light *****s, spotlights, table lamps, etc. Ambient lighting is the main focus. People who like bright lights may find it a bit dim and depressing. Secondly, it is recommended that when arranging rooms for guests, the hotel should try not to arrange couples near parent-child rooms. Think this is a 4-5 stars hotel locally. The lobby is decent, not posh type. The rooms are cosy and beautiful. Kids like the kids room, toys and the sport car bed. All toiletries are provided and have kids version. Very thoughtful. Have a welcome fruits n snacks platters with high class mineral water. One thing we didn’t like about the hotel is it has a weird smell when we stepped out of the lift and walked towards our room. Like ‘salted fish’ smell. Not sure if it is from carpet or some food brought in by others. The smell was also in our room. The hotel is at a busy road junction facing Songhua River. Around there are many local eateries. We had a hard time finding suitable food for us and kids as their local food are mostly beef, lamb and duck innards and spicy. End up we took a taxi and went to a restaurant called Sheng Tian Fu, recommended by the driver. Taxi drivers not many are familiar with this hotel, and have to show them namecard. Not too difficult to get to attractions such as Harbin Polarpark, Sofia church and Zhongyang Street. More convenient to travel by taxi as these places are not exactly very near hotel and it can be cold walking a distance of 1-2km. Hotel provides decent breakfast with reasonable variety. Waitresses are friendly and proactive to chat with you and recommend you what to eat. One of them is called Xiao Liu, nice middle-age lady. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel and may go back if we go to Harbin again and if the pricing of hotel is cheaper.

Many of the previous reviews confirmed. We arrived late at night but were able to check in easily. The location was spectacular near many coffee shops and Russian restaurants. We even stumbled upon a nearby karaoke bar on the pedestrian street! It is near enough to walk to the Sophia Cathedral (which is seemingly closed). Ice and Snow World is far enough to need a car but close enough that it’s a quick ride. After hours of touring in the cold, the heated floors were much appreciated. The bathtub was also very nice.

Grand Mansion 1903 Hotel 🏨 is still as good as ever. I stayed here with my children in 2019. The children liked it very much. Both the decoration and the service of the hotel are very good. Have breakfast in the hotel's century-old wine cellar. Freshly fried steak and omelettes are the specialties. They taste very good and there are many varieties of breakfast. When I came to Harbin again this year, I chose the Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel. When I checked in, a handsome guy with a very nice attitude saw me bringing an old man and two children with him, and he even offered to give us a breakfast. The feeling of staying here this time is still very good. The waiters will meet all our needs. If I have the opportunity to come to Harbin again in the future, I will still choose Grand Gongguan 1903 Hotel.

An old hotel, the facilities look a bit old. The location is excellent. It is very close to Central Street, Flood Control Memorial Tower, Songhua River Railway Bridge, Cross-River Cableway, Ferry Terminal, and the subway. Huge room. Wonderful. The location is perfect, its off the Main Street so you don't get the noise but its a 5 min walk to the main shopping / tourist street. A 10 min walk to the park where you can access the cable car. Really the location is great. 24hour store opposite also, so really useful if you want to keep warm in the room and eat snacks. Speaking of warmth, the room we had was a little cold, but we didn't notice the heater in the room, but once we did, everything is fine. The place is clean and the service staff are friendly - although we didn't need to use them a lot, they always seemed keen. The reason facilities is not 5/5 is just due to the fact there was no breakfast, but as there are stores always nearby and the Main Street is super close, it really doesn't matter. It's a really nice place and especially for the money, its superb value. Would stay again - very easy decision.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Harbin! (Foreigners accepted.) The location is truly the perfect starting point for trips to all the main attractions of the city - a block or two blocks away from Central Street, Stalin Park, the Songhu River Cable Car, and Zhaolin Park. It's close enough to all the action, but the small distance from the walking street means you won't get all of the noise. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenient stores just steps away. I was given a free upgrade to a larger queen bedroom and I couldn't be more appreciative. The bathroom was HUGE, with a bathtub, separated toilet and shower areas, and very spacious counter and mirror. Toiletries were provided and replenished throughout my stay. The room was made up daily as well. The heat could also be controlled, and I was never cold from the moment I entered the hotel each time. Staff were friendly and responsive, and while no one spoke English, they were patient with translating and quick to help me when I needed something. Even without my upgrade I feel what I paid for three nights was well worth it. The only suggestion I have would be the decor - if the tacky large images of Harbin were replaced with something more tasteful, the room I stayed it would be unbeatable haha.

The location of the flood control memorial tower on Central Street of Harbin Jinjiang Elegant Hotel is very good. Open the window in the deluxe river view room and you can see the flood control memorial tower, Stalin Park and Songhua River on the street. Because I have been wearing a mask for a long time, my ears are a bit broken. Thank you Zhang Mei from the evening shift at the front desk for helping me wipe the medicine for 2 consecutive days, and thank you for letting me stay for 2 nights without changing rooms^^

The location of the hotel is very good. It is next to Central Street and closer to the Flood Control Memorial Tower. However, the only downside is that because the location is so good, it is a bit difficult to take a taxi back to the hotel or from the hotel during peak hours. There is a traffic jam on the one-way street at the door. . But the hotel is one of those... with older equipment but very clean. PS: Be sure to remember that they use an electric storage water heater, and there must be more than 40 minutes between baths between two people. Don't let this happen. I'll wash it after it's done. Don't ask me why I know? A bunch of bitter tears hahaha... The room is not particularly warm, but it can be blessed with air conditioning. The hotel is right on the Songhua River, so it is very convenient for shopping and doing things. It's great! like!

If you want to stay on Central Street, this hotel is a great choice. There are lots of shops and restaurants around you with in walking distance. It’s roughly 10 minutes away from the nearest train station however getting a taxi is just around the corner. The staff didn’t speak English, if any very broken yet it’s not a deal breaker, because all you have to do is hand them your passport at check-in. The room had everything you would need or expect from a highly rated hotel such as a kettle, hair dryer, tv, etc. Feel rest assured that the rooms are well insulated too. We had -32 degrees outside in the evenings and didn’t feel cold at all. The biggest let down was the quality of the bathroom. The shower head didn’t spray water very well and the shower door had to be fixed during our stay as the water sealant ***** was loose, thus water kept running on the bathroom floor. The hotel is showing its age but not chasing be away. Yet its not the newest hotel, definitely one of the best placed. One highlight was the breakfast spread. I booked my room with breakfast included and I’m glad I did. There was freshly baked goods, fresh fruits, eggs and meat, some Chinese dishes and some cereal. Glad to have been able to leave the hotel in the mornings with a full stomach.

Location is perfect, literally meters from the main street. that's pretty much what and all you are paying for. We were in the basic room so expectations were low. I would say it satisfy the basic needs in terms of space and amenities. I mean is a decent place to sleep for the location. However, the room is really small, a bit cold, old and pretty much falling apart here and there. Bed was good, comfortable and soft. Rooms are not soundproof so expect to hear everything going around. However, we were lucky to not have many guests around. Wifi was horrible and slow. Reception was great and the staff at the entrance has been friendly and available with any requests. For the low score to service it is meant to the cleaning. Room was still dirty on the angles when we arrived. Soups were never refilled in the bathroom (not even the hand ones) and we had to ask everytime to get a refill. Feels like cleaning lady entered, put the cover on the bed back in order and left without caring much on whatever was needed to be refilled or cleaned in the room. Barely touching the bottom of the job. Anyway back again, low expectations, decent room, great location. Satisfy the basic requirements and if you get it for a low price might be worth it.

The room is clean and the bed sheets are hygienic. Each person has to change his or her own suit. The room is very warm and comfortable in autumn and winter. I stayed for two nights and will stay here again next time I come to Harbin. It is close to the Central Street and Hongzhuan Street Morning Market subway stations, within walking distance, and the transportation is convenient. The front desk service attitude is also very good. We also went to the Volga Manor to experience the Russian style.
