Hotel Pax

The hotel is not big, and the rooms are not big either, but it is simple, warm and well organized. It was very late when I checked in, and there was no one at the front desk, but the room key was already in an envelope with the guest's name on it. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is good value for money, providing Italian simple meals with large portions. The location is good, only 200 meters away from the light rail terminal.

Heerlijk bed! Stijlvol ingericht, voldoende opbergrek, fijne badkamer, airco. Met de ramen dicht merk je niet dat je aan een drukke weg ligt. Lekker gegeten in restaurant ook voor vegetariërs. Fijn personeel dat attent is en met je meedenkt.

Good hotel in an area not far from the center and above all well served by various buses to reach it. You just need to find a car park as the hotel car park only has 3 spaces and the rest are paid with a 3 hour limit! When we arrived the reception was closed, you enter with a code but it's not a problem. Spacious and clean room, with complete bathroom kit and slippers too! Comfortable and very restful bed. Breakfast, nothing significant but varies between sweet and savory. We were almost at the end of the shift and unfortunately there was little stuff left. Nice power to make fresh orange juice do-it-yourself. Friendly and helpful staff, they also speak Italian. Price ratio, not bad, I really can't find any flaws. The only one, perhaps, is the first floor room facing the street. At night the traffic stops, otherwise it gets noisy. Furthermore, many planes pass right above our heads, same thing. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel but unfortunately it was closed during our overnight stay. Advised

The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was large and very nice. The room was OK. We thought the orange juice that you could make yourself at breakfast was great. We didn't like the breakfast. It was a big disappointment and substandard. Lots of packaged industrial food. Only 2 types of bread. One of them was tough. Probably defrosted. The cheapest 3 types of breakfast cereal. The meat looked bad and cheap. No color. Probably factory farming. Almost no selection of cheese. Apart from the scrambled eggs, there was nothing home-cooked. We found the TV, which was on the whole time, annoying and completely unnecessary. The room was not clean. A thick layer of dust over all the door frames. I cleaned the slightly dusty shelves myself. A bedside lamp was crooked because it was broken. I can't understand the many positive reviews.

Small, family-friendly hotel with large, quiet rooms. A great breakfast. The location is not the best in the city, but that is not a problem, as it is just 2 km from the Gare and has a bus stop next door. The attendant Mino is without a doubt the best person you can meet, he is attentive, calm, helpful and friendly.

Central location, well suited for a city trip. The center and the main train station can be reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes, the connection to public transport is very good, there are several bus lines directly in front of the hotel to the main train station. Parking spaces are very limited and in case of doubt, there is a charge. The hotel is located on a busy road right at a crossroads. However, a room facing the courtyard is completely unaffected by the traffic noise on the road. The hotel is also located - depending on the wind direction - in the approach path of the airport in Luxembourg. However, the planes did not bother Una at all. The rooms are spacious, modern and well-kept. Our personal highlight was the balcony in our room :-) The breakfast is sufficient but certainly also needs improvement. The coffee machine takes a long time to prepare the drinks, if you want a cappuccino, it produces far too much milk foam. Overall, there are several types of rolls, bread and croissants to choose from, as well as a selection of sausage and cheese, honey, jams and Nutella as spreads. Muesli is also offered. There is also the option of pressing your own juice or using pre-pressed juice. The staff is helpful and friendly. Checking in was easy even when the reception was not manned. A code was sent via email from Corab that was to be used to open the entrance door. The room cards were in a sealed envelope at the reception. Checking out and paying for breakfast was easy the evening before departure. All in all, a well-rounded and satisfactory stay. If we were to visit Luxembourg again, we would definitely book the hotel again.
