There are more than 100 youth hostels, which are not cheap. You cannot check in in advance until 3 pm. There is no breakfast, no swimming pool, no gym, and no laundry room. The rooms are basically eight or ten-person rooms. Find out more before booking.

This is my second time visiting Vietnam (HCM) this simple and busy city has a lot to offer. So choosing a place to stay near touristy areas, convenient stores and restaurants is a big consideration when it comes to traveling for me. I stumbled upon “Meander Saigon Hostel” on YouTube and decided to give this place a shot. I must say that this hostel is the most simplistic hostel I have ever seen. It provides the necessary facilities that is required for a temporary place to stay. I was so surprised that most (80%) of the touristy areas is walking distance from the hostel. It is 100% affordable ($52/night) and I must say all in all I am very satisfied with my 5D4N stay in Vietnam (HCM). I would recommend this place to those looking for an affordable, quiet and safe accommodation to stay at. Thank you Meander Saigon Hostel and see you soon !

The environment is nice and the location is great, but I arrived at 4am and couldn't check in, so I had to pay for another day's room on site. I wanted to go somewhere else to rest, but the guy said I could sleep in the hotel lobby and have a cup of coffee. The service was so good that I paid directly.

Environment: Very clean. Although it is a youth hostel, it is very clean. The bed arranged by the hotel is not good. There are obviously better beds. The one arranged for me is not convenient to get on and off, but the one arranged for others has extra space to climb up and down, which is safer. No one changed the sheets.
