The overall stay exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding and bathroom were impeccably maintained. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. The room had good soundproofing, and the facilities were well-maintained and functional. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel.

This was my first time staying in a family room, and as soon as I walked in, I felt the layout was very convenient. The front desk lady checked me in quickly and gave clear directions when I asked how to get around. It was also easy to get a taxi from here or go to the East Station 🙂 The room was comfortable to stay in. The bedding was neatly made, felt very soft to the touch, and both the pillows and duvet were clean and dry. I slept really well at night, and the soundproofing was good too; outside noises barely bothered me at all 😌 The gym was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and bright, and the equipment was sufficient for a daily workout. It was very convenient to go and get some exercise after a long journey, and it didn't feel stuffy in there 🏋️ The breakfast variety was richer than I expected, with both hot and cold options, all tasty. Overall, my stay was very hassle-free, suitable for family trips or an overnight stopover 😊

The hotel’s location was very convenient — it’s right next to some of Hohhot’s major hospitals, which made getting around quite easy. The room was clean, and although there was no central heating, the air conditioner provided enough warmth. Our room faced the main road, so it was a bit noisy at times. Also, there was no mini-bar/fridge in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. Communication with the staff was slightly challenging since they don’t speak English, but we managed. Overall, it was a decent stay with good cleanliness and a convenient location.

Disappointing experience for a hotel of this standard I had quite high expectations for Wanda Vista Hohhot, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing, especially considering the hotel is positioned as a five-star property. The first impression at check-in was already not great. There was very little sense of welcome from the front desk. While the staff member was trying to locate our booking number, she said “麻烦死了” within earshot of us. I was quite taken aback and actually asked if she was referring to us, to which she laughed and said no. She may have been frustrated with the computer or booking system, but regardless of who or what the comment was directed at, I do not think this is appropriate to say in front of guests during check-in. The overall attitude simply did not feel like the level of hospitality I would expect from a hotel in this category. What shocked me the most, however, was at the restaurant. The water jug being used at the coffee machine had very obvious orange-brown corrosion or buildup around the inner seam and spout, in an area that comes into contact with the water. I have attached photos because I think they speak for themselves. I cannot say exactly what the substance was, but seeing equipment used for drinking water in this condition was extremely concerning and immediately made me question the maintenance and hygiene standards of the beverage equipment. The property itself may carry a five-star name and facilities, but service and maintenance are equally important parts of a five-star experience. Between the uncomfortable check-in experience and finding the coffee machine water jug in that condition, this stay fell well below what I expected. I hope management takes the feedback seriously, particularly the condition of the beverage equipment and front desk service standards.

We stayed for three nights in total, and the overall experience was great. For the first two nights, since the standard rooms were fully booked, we opted for a queen room. On the third day, the hotel upgraded us to a family room, which was much bigger and our child absolutely loved it. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient with both check-ins and answering our questions. The cleanliness was impressive; we felt very comfortable staying there. Breakfast was also good, with a variety of vegetables and fruits, plus freshly cooked noodles, so there was plenty of choice. The location is very convenient, with many dining options nearby. Chain restaurants serving shaomai and Mongolian cuisine are just a few minutes' walk away, and it's also very easy to get a taxi to various attractions. Excellent value for money!

First, let's talk about the room's strengths, which was the most satisfying part of this stay. The room was incredibly spacious, with no cramped or stuffy feeling. Whether traveling alone or with companions, there was more than enough room to move around. The overall cleanliness of the room was excellent; the floors, tables, bedding, and bathroom areas were all spotless, with no stains, dust, or strange odors. Attention to detail was evident. The indoor lighting and ventilation were great; the windows were clear, providing ample natural light during the day, making the room bright and airy with good air circulation, preventing any stuffiness. Additionally, the mattress and pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the furniture arrangement was practical. The overall living comfort was good, perfectly meeting the needs for daily rest or a temporary stay. The hardware conditions are quite outstanding for accommodations in this price range. Upon arrival, I found that there were a lot of guests checking in, and the front desk had a long, dense queue. We waited in the lobby for a very long time, which was a significant drain on time and energy, especially waiting with luggage. This greatly diminished the experience. During peak hours, with many guests, it's easy for people to pile up in queues and experience congested waiting times, which is very unfriendly to travelers who are on a tight schedule and want to check in quickly to rest. In summary, the hotel's room hardware, hygiene, and living comfort are commendable, making for a very good living experience. However, the excessively long wait during peak check-in times dragged down the overall check-in experience.

Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied; the lamb shaomai was particularly authentic, and the lamb offal soup was absolutely delicious – highly recommend both! What truly stood out was the genuine and professional service team. From the warm milk the housekeeping auntie discreetly replenished daily to the help with planning my travel itinerary, every little detail exuded a heartwarming, 'home-like' feeling. Upon check-out, the front desk even gave me a souvenir gift, a thoughtful gesture that instantly melted away any travel fatigue. Xin Cheng Hotel isn't just a place to rest; it's a living cultural museum. It tells stories through its architecture, conveys local charm through its cuisine, and embodies warmth through its service. It allows every guest to experience the vastness and gentleness of Hohhot amidst the hustle and bustle. I will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient. There's free parking right outside, and it's close to both the subway and bus stations. Plus, there's a large supermarket nearby, making shopping super easy.

Yesterday I was drunk and went to the hotel opposite my work to get an hourly room to rest. The purpose of rest was to work better. After sleeping all morning, I was resurrected with full blood in the afternoon and could work hard again. Overall the hotel is quite quiet and the facilities are relatively old, but the advantage is that it is close to the company, just opposite the unit.
