"Given the affordable price, this place deserves a good review. Even though the building was under renovation and it was quite dusty when stepping out at night, the price was cheap and the location was excellent. It's surrounded by malls, making shopping and dining very convenient. Getting around by subway is also a breeze, and the room itself was clean and comfortable."

"This was my first time in Qingcheng, and I was here for a Wakin Chau concert. The lovely front desk lady upgraded my room, parking was free, and the breakfast was excellent. The hot water was plentiful, towels were new, and toiletries were well-stocked. I was very satisfied."

"This is an old-fashioned hotel. Invoices are still paper-based and take a long time to process. If you need an invoice, you have to allow an extra half hour, otherwise you'll end up like me. I thought I could just scan a QR code to get one, but I ran out of time and had to accept my bad luck. Hundreds of yuan without an invoice means I'm out of pocket."

"I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised to find some Mongolian food, which made me feel at home. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"Disappointing experience for a hotel of this standard I had quite high expectations for Wanda Vista Hohhot, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing, especially considering the hotel is positioned as a five-star property. The first impression at check-in was already not great. There was very little sense of welcome from the front desk. While the staff member was trying to locate our booking number, she said “麻烦死了” within earshot of us. I was quite taken aback and actually asked if she was referring to us, to which she laughed and said no. She may have been frustrated with the computer or booking system, but regardless of who or what the comment was directed at, I do not think this is appropriate to say in front of guests during check-in. The overall attitude simply did not feel like the level of hospitality I would expect from a hotel in this category. What shocked me the most, however, was at the restaurant. The water jug being used at the coffee machine had very obvious orange-brown corrosion or buildup around the inner seam and spout, in an area that comes into contact with the water. I have attached photos because I think they speak for themselves. I cannot say exactly what the substance was, but seeing equipment used for drinking water in this condition was extremely concerning and immediately made me question the maintenance and hygiene standards of the beverage equipment. The property itself may carry a five-star name and facilities, but service and maintenance are equally important parts of a five-star experience. Between the uncomfortable check-in experience and finding the coffee machine water jug in that condition, this stay fell well below what I expected. I hope management takes the feedback seriously, particularly the condition of the beverage equipment and front desk service standards."

"The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet! The staff were warm and attentive, even giving a gift to my child upon checkout, which made them very happy! The breakfast was also rich with many choices and tasted great! Plus, the hotel makes it easy to rent and return cars, which is super convenient! There's a Xibei restaurant and other dining options nearby, making daily life and travel very convenient! It's a bit of a shame that due to my schedule, I missed the hotel's afternoon tea and late-night snack! Overall, the stay was excellent, highly recommended! 👍👍👍"

"I don't usually like writing reviews, but the housekeeping staff at this hotel really warmed my heart. I had a stomachache due to unforeseen circumstances, and when the housekeeping staff noticed I wasn't feeling well while cleaning, she took out her own brown sugar, made some for me, and brought it over. She said her daughter was about my age and knew how uncomfortable a stomachache was, and that some would make me feel better. Her words were simple, but they truly touched me, a solo business traveler. I have to give her five stars! [Thumbs up]"
