If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Hohhot and don’t have very high expectations, this hotel can be an option. One of the staff members was not very friendly toward foreign guests. We simply requested a chopstick to stir our coffee in the room, but unfortunately, our request was declined. It was a small thing, but the experience could have been handled more warmly. Pros: * Very close to the metro/subway station * Convenient location near Hohhot Railway Station * Plenty of affordable restaurants nearby * Budget-friendly Cons: * The carpet on the floor was visibly dirty * The hotel is quite old and could use some updating * Service could be more welcoming, especially toward foreign guests Overall, our stay was just good enough for a short budget stay, mainly because of the convenient location and affordable price. However, if you are particular or sensitive about cleanliness, I would recommend looking for another hotel."
