From the front desk staff to the breakfast auntie and the cleaners, every single employee was smiling and greeted me warmly, making me feel very welcome. This kind of service attitude is definitely what a hotel should offer. Most importantly, the hotel excels in hygiene and cleanliness, meeting even the highest standards. The room was clean and tidy overall, the bedding was dry and odorless, and the bathroom was equally clean, fresh, and free of any smells. I especially liked the TOTO toilet in the bathroom; it flushed automatically with strong power and a fast stream without splashing, which is a great feature. Additionally, the hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

My stay at Starway Hotel (Hohhot Xinhua Square) was excellent! The location is incredibly convenient, right by the square. The staff were very friendly and had a great attitude. The room was spacious and the king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I was also impressed by the high standard of cleanliness throughout the room. Traveling with a dog 🧳Road Trip 2️⃣ night, experience a rural homestay 🏨. The room is large, the living room 🛋️ is very spacious, equipped with a kitchen and a bar, suitable for long-term stay. Suggestion: Currently, you need to stand in the bathtub to shower 🚿, and water splashing all over the floor is inevitable. I hope to improve it❤️.

The service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with a convenience store right outside and an old-brand shaomai (steamed dumpling) shop just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel advertises that it has a gym, which was the primary reason we booked our stay, as we wanted to maintain our fitness routine while away from home and unable to use our usual gym membership. Upon arrival, we discovered that the ”gym” consisted of only two treadmills and no other equipment. This was extremely disappointing, as a gym should provide a variety of fitness equipment to accommodate different workout needs. Advertising a facility as a gym when it is essentially just a room with treadmills feels misleading. If your facility only has treadmills, it would be more accurate to advertise it as such, rather than labeling it a gym. A proper gym typically requires a minimum set of equipment, including: 1. Cardio Machines: At least treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes. 2. Strength Equipment: Free weights (dumbbells, barbells) and resistance machines. 3. Functional Training Tools: Items such as yoga mats, kettlebells, or medicine balls. This would ensure clarity for guests who choose hotels based on their fitness facilities. While we appreciated the cleanliness and service, the lack of transparency regarding the gym was a major letdown.
