Modern, upscale feeling, nice furniture, spacious rooms, good breakfast with a few western options though not many.
Service desk was good and friendly but did not provide a smoke free room asewquested in the booking at the beginning but got an upgrade afterwards really a very spacious room, which was a great service.
However the service desk staff should pay more attention to the exact booking specifications, because on our second stay they gave us one standard and one larger room though we had booked two large rooms and we ended up having to correct that again with the frontdesk….
Location is a bit remote, not many shops or restaurants around. The Hotel itself is very clean and has trendy looking furniture and a lot of stylish looks inside. I can recommend it to western tourists and if you plan to travel to downtown by Didi the location does not matter anyway. It is closer to the airport than the downtown Hotels and absolutely quiet - no road noise or other things.
Overall a very pleasant Hotel with some necessary tweaks here and there for the service desk staff.

Guest UserAn absolutely wonderful travel experience! The hotel boasts a fantastic location, and I was very pleased with both the service and the environment. Enjoying a coffee in the hotel cafe with the canyon breeze in the morning was incredibly relaxing. If you're lucky, you might even catch a breathtaking sunset, truly a golden glow painting the mountains and rivers into a dream!

Guest UserSheyi Tea Culture hotel was an amazing stay, definitely a must stay if visiting Hohhot!
Food & Drink 🫖
This hotel is also a tea house and it is a tea drinker’s dream! First the room a booked came with my own tea brewing equipment and a tea brewing table with an excellent view and comfortable seats! But that is just the beginning, as you head down to the main floor a fully stocked, beautiful tea house & cafe awaits you. Daily tea and even delicious milk tea is always available. Private table sets and outdoor seating is available too. The tea masters are skilled and attentive, which made all my tea drinking experiences fun and enjoyable! You can also purchase various tea and tea ware right in the tea house.
Location 📍
This hotel is perfectly located close to the near by Ancient Street, with many close by temples and shrines to visit. A craft street is close by and available all day, while a famous local food street opens up for colourful night time snacking in the evening. Many close by restaurants offering authentic local cuisine, I recommend reading the hotel’s recommendations as they were always great. If you need even more tea experience, there is a nearby tea wholesale market and many high end tea house in the area as well.
The Room 🛌
The room I stayed in had lots of space, was very clean and had everything you could need to feel comfortable. Daily bathroom necessities are provided. High quality bedding, robes and slippers are waiting for you. High end bathroom equipment is installed, with hot water always available. Premium television is set up and Wifi connection always had high speeds. A beautiful kettle and tea set can be used to make tea with daily water and a welcome tea package provided.
Staff 👩⚕️
The staff were very king and helpful right from check in. Actually even before check in they were helping bring my luggage inside! They were patient with communication as I was a foreign visitor. They answered any and all questions I had. They recommended great tea and amazing restaurants! The staff were always available and always smiling! Such great people really made my stay a dream.
This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in and I definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot! I will be back again for sure.

Guest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money! The room was spotless, with plenty of hot water and a comfy bed. The front desk staff were very friendly, and there's a snack street right downstairs. It's also super close to all the attractions, and the soundproofing was great, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling.

Guest UserThis hotel is one of the best I've stayed at with my dog, in terms of environment. The common areas are full of greenery, and there's a good amount of outdoor space. What I liked most was the room I booked with a small courtyard; it was super clean, and it made it really convenient to take my dog in and out without disturbing anyone else. The staff's service was excellent too. When parking was tight, they actively went out of their way to help us find a solution, showing great initiative. It definitely deserves five stars. Plus, the hotpot restaurant on-site serves good quality meat, vegetables, and mushrooms.

Guduzhu
The lobby is spacious and warmly decorated, and the front desk staff is polite and enthusiastic. The breakfast is rich with local specialties. There is a large supermarket next to the hotel, and there is also Decathlon next to it. There is a Moore City across the road from the hotel, which is convenient for shopping and dining. There is a subway station within 600 metres from the hotel.
The room is relatively large, warmly and neatly decorated, the bed is very comfortable with moderate hardness, there are hard and soft pillows, and the bedding is good.

It’s an average local hotel, the huge lobby is not heated and soooo cold. The checking in took forever and they did not let me in claiming that my prepaid booking is “not found on their system”, totally overlooking my confirmation letter and doing nothing to further inquire it. They just refused to let me in. I was standing there helplessly with my kids in the freezing lobby. Luckily the checking in finalized at last thanks to a Trip online assistant. And they would not even apologize and pretended like nothing happened.
As for the room, spacious, but everything is a bit old. The bathroom show door handle came off while I tried to open it. The carpet was burnt from smoking and some spots were uncleaned. The bathroom fan and the room conditioner make loud noises.
Also while I was taking a bath, the hotel cleaner just entered in using a card to ask if I needed cleaning for the room. I had to get out and answer her.
Service is unsatisfactory.

lienesadventuresThere were a few frustrating issues with our stay here. First off, the property is in a neighborhood that is accessed through a guarded gate. Hotel instructions after booking said to reach out to them to inquire about car parking and accessibility. I e-mailed the hotel a week prior and didn't hear back. I e-mailed again 2 days before our stay and did not receive a response. That was already frustrating. Once we arrived at the guard gate on the day of the check-in, the guard ordered us to drive away. He had absolutely no interest in even looking at our reservation or helping. The least helpful person we have met in China so far, he just basically yelled at us. I ended up having to walk to the hotel, where a staff member had to phone the guard to eventually let us in. Overall, this was a totally wasted, frustrating hour. Once we got assigned a room, it was evident a large dog had stayed there for several days. The room smelled very bad, which even the staff member agreed with. So, we had to ask for a room change. The new room was ok - the bed was nice and soft, however it lacked in some cleanliness (toothpaste splashes on the bathroom mirror etc.). The staff was definitely nice and tried their best to rectify all the issues, however, we would probably choose another hotel in the future. Not the 4* experience one would hope for.

Guest UserThis hotel is quite close to Hohhot East High-speed Train Station and the new Inner Mongolia Museum, both within a 1.2km walking distance. Downstairs, there are many local specialty stores with reasonable prices. They offer free shipping for purchases over 200 yuan. As a Trip.com user, I received a welcome fruit platter upon check-in, and every piece of fruit was carefully selected, sweet, fresh, and without any blemishes. The breakfast buffet is also extensive and caters well to Cantonese preferences. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had a sensible wet and dry separation.

YiranzileThis hotel is definitely worth staying at. The front desk staff are professional, warm, and attentive. The rooms are large, clean, and tidy with expansive views where you can see the Chilechuan Grassland and horse racing. You can enjoy the grassland until 8 or 9 PM, and the night view is beautiful. The 'Eternal Horse Song' show is just a three-minute walk away. Breakfast includes local specialties like lamb offal soup and milk tea. The Chilechuan Grassland is right downstairs, making it perfect for photos. The hotel even provided welcome fruit, and watching the horse racing from the balcony was absolutely fantastic!
