Guest UserMaintained the usual Atour standard, very clean and tidy, and they offered complimentary drinks.
The gym is decent, and there's a convenient supermarket in the residential area behind the hotel.
They even provide free congee in the evenings.

Guest UserSheyi Tea Culture hotel was an amazing stay, definitely a must stay if visiting Hohhot!
Food & Drink 🫖
This hotel is also a tea house and it is a tea drinker’s dream! First the room a booked came with my own tea brewing equipment and a tea brewing table with an excellent view and comfortable seats! But that is just the beginning, as you head down to the main floor a fully stocked, beautiful tea house & cafe awaits you. Daily tea and even delicious milk tea is always available. Private table sets and outdoor seating is available too. The tea masters are skilled and attentive, which made all my tea drinking experiences fun and enjoyable! You can also purchase various tea and tea ware right in the tea house.
Location 📍
This hotel is perfectly located close to the near by Ancient Street, with many close by temples and shrines to visit. A craft street is close by and available all day, while a famous local food street opens up for colourful night time snacking in the evening. Many close by restaurants offering authentic local cuisine, I recommend reading the hotel’s recommendations as they were always great. If you need even more tea experience, there is a nearby tea wholesale market and many high end tea house in the area as well.
The Room 🛌
The room I stayed in had lots of space, was very clean and had everything you could need to feel comfortable. Daily bathroom necessities are provided. High quality bedding, robes and slippers are waiting for you. High end bathroom equipment is installed, with hot water always available. Premium television is set up and Wifi connection always had high speeds. A beautiful kettle and tea set can be used to make tea with daily water and a welcome tea package provided.
Staff 👩⚕️
The staff were very king and helpful right from check in. Actually even before check in they were helping bring my luggage inside! They were patient with communication as I was a foreign visitor. They answered any and all questions I had. They recommended great tea and amazing restaurants! The staff were always available and always smiling! Such great people really made my stay a dream.
This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in and I definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot! I will be back again for sure.

Guest UserI chose this hotel for my 3-night stay in Hohhot. It's located in a bustling area of the old city, directly opposite the Grand Mosque and Kuan Alley food street. The lobby is bright and spacious, and the self-service afternoon tea offers freshly ground coffee, various teas, and snacks, making it a cozy and pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a nice view outside the window – I even caught a glimpse of a rainbow, which was a lovely surprise! The front desk staff were attentive and patient, and they resolved issues quickly. The light from the bedside switch panel was too bright at night and disturbed my sleep. The staff offered a temporary solution that worked well, but it was still inconvenient to use the switch.

ShahebuermurongchenxueThis hotel boasts a good location, very close to the subway station, and right next to Wanda Plaza and a pedestrian street, making shopping and dining easily accessible. However, it's a bit of a distance from landmarks like Dazhao Temple and Kuan Alley. The hotel's decor is quite unique, both classic and ethnic, creating a tranquil atmosphere despite being in a bustling area. The bathroom facilities in the rooms are also quite spacious.
On the downside, the front desk staff didn't seem particularly welcoming. The sink and mirror in the room are offset, which made washing up and applying makeup a bit awkward. Most importantly, basic beverages like tea bags and coffee are not provided by default in the room; you have to specifically request them from the front desk. After I used a teacup on the first day, the cleaning staff didn't wash or replace it. Also, delivery personnel were able to directly access the guest room floors. These are standard amenities and services even in many budget hotels, so I'm not sure why they seem to be considered 'premium' here!

Anonymous UserNot worth the value. ESP, if you don’t plan to travel with your own car.
Lack of amenities, food, and transportation. Hotel was unable to find a transport for us that left us stranded, we had to find our own way out as it was located within the National park -private area . Food was supposed to be pre-ordered, we tried to add some extra dishes more than 5 hours before dinner, still cannot be arranged for. They arranged a private dining area for our family, however did not clean up from previous guests, there were storage of old chairs and tissue paper lying around.
Hotel has no other facilities apart from the room itself and the cafe. No pool, spa/sauna or facilitators
Overall the room and view was nice, but it can be accessible without the stay.

We stayed for three nights in total, and the overall experience was great. For the first two nights, since the standard rooms were fully booked, we opted for a queen room. On the third day, the hotel upgraded us to a family room, which was much bigger and our child absolutely loved it. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient with both check-ins and answering our questions. The cleanliness was impressive; we felt very comfortable staying there. Breakfast was also good, with a variety of vegetables and fruits, plus freshly cooked noodles, so there was plenty of choice. The location is very convenient, with many dining options nearby. Chain restaurants serving shaomai and Mongolian cuisine are just a few minutes' walk away, and it's also very easy to get a taxi to various attractions. Excellent value for money!

YinlingyiFacilities: I was very satisfied with the entire facility. The areas were clearly defined, and I was surprised to find that the yurt was fully equipped and incredibly comfortable – truly a luxurious yurt.
Environment: The environment was exceptionally good. The overall courtyard design gave a sense of tranquility amidst the bustling city, with beautiful scenery at every turn.
Service: The service was the most thoughtful. For a traveler like me, it brought a sense of comfort. The staff were very enthusiastic, attentive, and considerate.

TuobuleWhy is this hotel rated so highly? I think it's biased; there are just too many problems! 1. They require a deposit, and if you don't give it, they lock up your slippers and the refrigerator. 2. There's no headrest, just a bump; who can comfortably sit there? 3. They take away your slippers, give you a pair, but won't let you wear them in the shower! 4. The space under the TV is too narrow; you can't put anything there! 5. They only serve shumai on Wednesdays and Fridays! 6. It takes over ten minutes to cook a bowl of noodles! Such a huge pot for just one bowl of noodles?! The service is also indifferent! I strongly advise against this hotel. I originally booked for two days, but I immediately checked out!

YiranzileThis hotel is definitely worth staying at. The front desk staff are professional, warm, and attentive. The rooms are large, clean, and tidy with expansive views where you can see the Chilechuan Grassland and horse racing. You can enjoy the grassland until 8 or 9 PM, and the night view is beautiful. The 'Eternal Horse Song' show is just a three-minute walk away. Breakfast includes local specialties like lamb offal soup and milk tea. The Chilechuan Grassland is right downstairs, making it perfect for photos. The hotel even provided welcome fruit, and watching the horse racing from the balcony was absolutely fantastic!
