MMegaflopperModern, upscale feeling, nice furniture, spacious rooms, good breakfast with a few western options though not many.
Service desk was good and friendly but did not provide a smoke free room asewquested in the booking at the beginning but got an upgrade afterwards really a very spacious room, which was a great service.
However the service desk staff should pay more attention to the exact booking specifications, because on our second stay they gave us one standard and one larger room though we had booked two large rooms and we ended up having to correct that again with the frontdesk….
Location is a bit remote, not many shops or restaurants around. The Hotel itself is very clean and has trendy looking furniture and a lot of stylish looks inside. I can recommend it to western tourists and if you plan to travel to downtown by Didi the location does not matter anyway. It is closer to the airport than the downtown Hotels and absolutely quiet - no road noise or other things.
Overall a very pleasant Hotel with some necessary tweaks here and there for the service desk staff.

AAnonymous UserThe room was clean, spacious, bright, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a semi-buffet with staple options like shaomai and plain noodles, and the savory milk tea was delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of major attractions. To the north are Dazhao Temple, Xilitu Zhao Temple, and Saishang Old Street. To the south are Guanyin Temple and Baoerhan Pagoda. Next door is the yet-to-be-opened Labuqi Zhao Temple. The silver Buddha and dragon carvings inside Dazhao Temple, along with the dragon carvings in the ancient Buddha hall of Xilitu Zhao Temple, are well-preserved and exquisitely crafted – truly stunning to see. Also, the ice-boiled lamb at Zecheng is incredibly tasty; the Dazhao Siheyuan branch is the closest to the hotel, just a few minutes' walk according to navigation.

This stay at Lost Villa in the Yellow River Grand Canyon was an amazing experience. The entire property is very quiet and exclusive, with only 15 rooms, which makes it feel private and far away from the usual crowds. It’s the perfect place to truly relax.
The room is beautifully designed, comfortable, and well maintained. What really stands out is the view — it is absolutely breathtaking and easily one of the best in the area. Watching the Yellow River canyon scenery from the room feels like being in a movie, especially during sunrise and sunset.
The staff are also very friendly and attentive, making the whole stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a highly recommended retreat for anyone looking for peace, privacy, and unforgettable natural scenery.

HHaizhuxuezhiqianHohhot Mercure truly exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect, right next to Qingcheng Park, and about a 10-minute walk to Dazhao Temple and Saishang Old Street, making it a one-stop shop for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
The high-rise lobby has a strong sense of design, incorporating grassland elements, making it great for photos. The rooms are smart and tidy, spacious, and soundproof. The garden-view rooms offer relaxing views of the park's greenery.
The breakfast selection is rich, with freshly baked croissants, lamb offal soup, and 'Beizi' (local baked flatbread), all authentic in taste. The gym on the 31st floor has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, creating a great atmosphere for workouts. The self-service laundry room with dryers is very convenient.
Service was consistently excellent, with friendly and responsive front desk staff. The smart parking garage has charging stations, making it very friendly for those driving. Overall, both comfort and value for money are high. I highly recommend it!

Lliliy1023The location is incredibly convenient! There's a bus stop right outside the door and the subway station is just a two-minute walk away. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and the front desk and housekeeping staff were all excellent. They even upgraded my room! Plus, they have a robot delivery service for meals. The hotel breakfast is also very extensive. Highly recommended!

The room itself was incredibly clean, can't fault it.
The location was great too, very convenient for getting around.
They offer free parking with plenty of spaces available.

GGuest UserStayed for two nights and it was absolutely wonderful! I wish I could've stayed longer. I was traveling from Beijing to Xinjiang with my 9-year-old Golden Retriever, passing through Hohhot, and this B&B is by far the most comfortable pet-friendly place I've ever stayed. The environment is so well-maintained. We arrived quite late that day, and the staff helped us with our luggage. The courtyard was very clean, and the room even more so. It's convenient for getting around, with an excellent location and many great restaurants nearby. I'll definitely be back!

GGebenhagenwangboThe staff were very friendly when I booked the room, and they even gave me two breakfast vouchers instead of one (though I left early and couldn't use them). However, the downside was that the room's cleanliness was just okay. When I tried to open the fridge, the rubber seal on the bottom of the fridge door was stuck to the fridge itself, making it hard to open. I was worried it wasn't clean, so I didn't dare put anything inside. Even more off-putting was a spot on the mirror above the bathroom sink that looked like a bloodstain. I checked in late and initially thought it was paint, but in the morning, it really looked like a blood spot, which made me quite uncomfortable.

GGuest UserHighly recommend this courtyard hotel! The small courtyard is charmingly antique, with a quiet and serene environment that's perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle. You can walk to all the major attractions and shopping areas, making sightseeing and shopping incredibly convenient. The room was spotless and cozy, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The owner and staff were all very enthusiastic and responsive to our needs. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious, and the price was very reasonable. I've already saved this place; I'll choose it every time I visit!
