Hotels Near Kalanimoku Building in Honolulu

Wow! Genuinely friendly staff that is welcoming and helpful. I had no expectations on an overnight with friends from Maui. Mind blown at the level of Aloha - clean rooms, great location. Thank you Aqua Palms staff for helping create part of an incredible experience filled with so much Aloha I’m already planning a return trip with friends to stay there.

The hotel location is 5-8 minutes walk from the bustling area, and it is also close to the beach, but the location navigation is not very clear because the hotel is located in the middle of the road. The hotel is not large, but there are triple rooms and quadruple rooms suitable for family travel. The overall value for money in the nearby area is relatively high. The disadvantage is that it is noisy and quiet. The hotel is more intimate to provide free breakfast in the room, guests staying at the front desk can also rent beach chairs, bath towels, beach umbrellas, etc. These are more intimate. But there is a problem. The room rate of Ctrip has been paid online. You can still charge a miscellaneous use fee of 25 dollars per day when you check in (that is, breakfast, beach rental, etc. mentioned above, and this does not matter whether you use You don't need to charge) This is not mentioned in the booking on Ctrip, it is not very satisfactory. I was very disappointed when I got to my crappy old room...it was so hot in my room!! The a/c was barely working!! So I called the front desk to switch rooms... luckily she called me back and said she had another room for me... the new room wasn't really any better!! The a/c was in the back corner and still I couldn't feel the a/c!! I actually had to go to the back corner to feel a little air conditioned. We pay a lot of money to stay there and there rooms barely have working air conditioned!! We were very hot the whole time we were there!! So my friends and I will never stay there again!! And we will not recommend Waikiki heritage hotel to anyone!! Good luck...

The hotel is in a great location with beautiful sea views, close to the beach and convenient to the commercial street. The room is spacious, with a kitchen, a variety of tableware, washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers. It is the best choice for family travel.

So....got a great rate on Travelzoo voucher for 4 nights. This hotel has been remodeled and is still in process of completing some work in common areas. Starbucks opened when I was there, and Monkeypod will open in the future. Staff was fabulous! No complaints there. I was able to check in early and got a partial ocean view on floor 11. Room was spotless. My only complaint, and it's a big one for me, is the soundproofing. I should say lack of it! Doors are HEAVY and each open and shut on the floor nearby is a shock to the sleeper. Also, the wind whistled and the band and traffic comes right in through slider to balcony. The band stops at 9, so that was no problem, and very nice. But....I hated the door slams and other interior noises. If you are a light sleeper, I don't think you will enjoy yourself. I wore ear plugs. Location is superb! It really can't be beat. Pool is OK. The jacuzzi was kind of icky. One being closed the entire time, the other kind of grey and the one attached to the pool generally full of kids. No jacuzzi for me. Towels and loungers were readily available. No problems there. We did have a problem at restaurant/ bar with what we think was bad turkey or mayo on a club. My grandson and I got sick within a couple hours. Unfortunately for the maintenance staff there was some cleaning up to do in the bathroom. The staff responded immediately and were so nice about it. I cannot thank them enough. However, when I reported this to the restaurant manager in the morning I was not totally happy with his response. All in all, I would stay there again for what I paid for it.

The Sheraton Waikiki has the best location. It’s minutes away from a big outlet mall with many food options and has direct access to the beach. The rooms are updated and modern and you have great views of Diamond Head. Many tour groups also depart from the bus depot next to the hotel entrance so that’s also very convenient.

very good location..infront of Nordstrom Rack Waikiki and a block away to the famous Marugame Udon..the room was outdated but very spacious, had 2 queen size beds and 1 single bed, and has a kitchen with stove top. Microwave oven and kettle upon request..will definitely book again next time

The hotel is in the center of Waikiki. A lot of shops and restaurants are nearby.I The beaches are 100 meters away. The famous hotels Moana Surfrider and Hyatt Regency are across the street. Royal Waikiki Center is a beautiful mall nearby. There are a lot of luxury retail stores and restaurants in the mall.

When you stay at a hotel that has a roach trip in the room...does anything else need to be said? Okay, great location. Also, a super fun bar (Wang Chung's) inside the lobby, one of the best in Waikiki. After that...blah. The bed was comfortable, except for the fact that my feet hung off the bed....and I'm just a medium-tall person. Pancakes at IHOP thicker then their pillows...and I'm barely exaggerating. TV never worked. There were big rainstorms, which was their excuse....but after 3 days of bright sunshine, still no tv. Even then, there's so little furniture in the room that you can't even see the TV cuz the lamp covers it up...you have to place the lamp on the floor to see the TV, when it works. Finally...manager....PLEASE stop pulling your mask down to speak with guests. You should know better.

Great location and beautiful views. Next to Diamond Head in a quieter part of Waikiki. Next to shops and restaurants. Easy walk to the zoo and aquarium. The beach is directly across from the hotel and perfect for swimming, boogie boarding and sunbathing. The staff were fantastic! They were all very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to rent 3 items for free per day (beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.) Lovely pool located on the 3rd floor. Our room was on the 5th floor with a partial ocean view. We liked the room even though it was a little on the small side but worked just fine for two people. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. We are so happy we stayed here and would do so again.
