Greenwoods Resort in Thekkady is a beautiful resort having cool, calm and picturesque atmosphere. You will being in the canopy of trees yet near main market and also near to Periyar Tiger Reserve. All the other venues are nearby. Staff is friendly and food was delicious.

Stayed at Greenwood resorts for 2 nights with family, and was very disappointed with the service. The resort is nicely spread out and built in the middle of the Kumily market area, but the rooms and service are not upto the mark. Had to wait for almost 45 mins to get a cup of milk! Shower kept on losing pressure so no water would come out for periods of time and the internet was very disruptive. Also, had power issues the whole time. Their sister properties at Munnar are in a much better shape. Will not recommend this place for the money they charge you.

Wonderful ambience. Food excellent and hospitality superb; helpful at every turn. We had the unfortunate luck of leaving an item of clothing at a hotel we were staying at before we arrived at Greenwoods and they kindly organised the item to be couriered to our next destination. This shows their commitment to service.

Staff are very polite. Food is good. Tea stall is excellent The rooms are clean but need updating. Smell from drains is horrible, thankfully this was just as we were leaving. Noise from kitchens is terrible up until almost midnight inspite of asking reception staff few times to ensure this does not happen !! This should not happen at a resort of this standard

Every thing was 5 star- food, service, accommodation and the staff but one thing WiFi service was bad signal not strong enough always discontinued . If this can improve Greenwood will 5starss. I will come back again. My wife enjoys environment with green

Fantastic property.. delicious food and wonderful hospitality. Awesome place to visit with family. Food quality was excellent and hospitality was great. We enjoyed the time. Children activities are icing on the cake. Thanks Greenwood for the wonderful time
