McCafferty's Guesthouse Ilford

We stayed at the Guesthouse for a week while working at the local ExCel Centre. The guest house is surrounded by many local takeaways and close to free parking out of normal business hours. (7:30-6pm Mon-Fri chargeble free the rest of the time) The accommodation has its own entrance which is accessible by a fob. Through the door leads you to a set of stairs that sits above the pub. Check in for us was speaking to the bar manager. The room was great value. Just be aware that on a Friday and Saturday Night the pubs live music can be heard but i did love the hotel provided ear plugs as standard in the rooms to aid sleep if you don't like live music. We both enjoyed it and would stay again.
Travelodge London Ilford

It’s more spacious than the other 2-person bedroom we booked for our sons. It’s corner room. A bit pricier but it’s good for families with young kids. Love that the bathroom is at the other end of the room with extra exit space. Do visit the Titanic cafe - we went there bacause of good reviews. About 10 mins walk. A few shops before the Titanic cafe is a vintage-looking cafe/pub which serves cheap English breakfast offering free-flow hot drinks for and extra £1 plus. This opens on the dot at 8 am whereas the Titanic opens earlier.

Stayed there for 1 night, and I was surprised what I get for the price I paid. Nice view from the terrace, specious room and excellent staff members. Bonus of free Wi-Fi in the room which is important for my work. definitely coming back once in the area.
Best Western Greater London Hotel

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).
Ilford Grand Hotel

Pleasantly surprised. Very clean modern hotel. Impressed with having a large tv and fridge in the room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Ejaz was very helpful when checking out and returning my damage deposit. Located in a great position with Wetherspoons 4 doors away. For the price I think this is an excellent choice in the London area
Wellesley Hotel

the Man running the place was pleasant and helpful even though he wasn't expecting to figure out where to park an Hgv for the night, as no one thought to check parking when booking it, possibly only small hotel in that town that could get me parked up without to much hassle, he even came out and assisted me with reversing up the road, and even though no food served there, he was knowledgeable of local food places and i did get impression nothing would be to much trouble for him, shower was interesting trying to figure out but there was Brew gear in the room, and clean towels that actually felt fresh and clean, and unusually there were no strange odours damp etc either the place has just been given a full facelift or there cleaners are well above average,
