Posizione incantevole: praticamente sulla spiaggia. Personale eccezionale: tutti, nessuno escluso, garbati, gentili, sorridenti, sempre disponibili. Questo fa la differenza. Il valore di un’azienda è dato dalle persone. Ancor più nel settore hospitality.

Ho dato una stella solo perché non era possibile dare zero. È sicuramente un hotel datato ma per un 4 stelle manca l’attenzione, la pulizia e la cordialità del personale. Stanza senza manutenzione, non pulita bene e con un odore sgradevole. Ho chiesto al personale di ripulire il bagno in quanto c’erano dei peli a terra e la signora delle pulizie con molta antipatia si è degnata di prendere un asciugamano per il viso, metterlo sotto la scopa e passarlo a terra per poi metterlo insieme agli asciugamani sporchi. Di conseguenza bagno non pulito perché passato molto velocemente, e sinceramente ribrezzo nell’usare gli asciugamani dati da loro. Per non parlare della doccia piena di ruggine e peli, tutto in stato degradato.

Mi dispiace dover condividere una recensione negativa, ma la mia esperienza presso questo hotel a Ischia è stata deludente. Siamo stati costretti a cambiare hotel ben due volte durante il nostro soggiorno, e questo è stato il secondo tentativo. Purtroppo, le condizioni dell'hotel non erano all'altezza degli standard che ci si aspetta da una struttura a 4 stelle. La pulizia e la manutenzione dei servizi igienici sono stati particolarmente deludenti, e ho notato una mancanza di attenzione ai dettagli e di ristrutturazione nei luoghi che ne avevano bisogno. Inizialmente avevamo prenotato un soggiorno di quattro notti, ma dopo una sola notte, in preda alla disperazione, abbiamo deciso di lasciare. Il prezzo pagato per una camera che non rispecchiava affatto le aspettative di un hotel a 4 stelle è stato eccessivo e ingiustificato. Ha cambiato proprietà quest'anno, ma il loro segno si avrà dal prox quando sono previsti ingenti investimenti di aggiornamento dell'hotel (che cmq necessitano se si vuole tornare ad essere il Solemar degli anni in cui il signor Enzo Presutti prima, un vero signore, seguito poi dal figlio Aldo, fecero "brillare" questo meraviglioso e suggestivo hotel) che rimane una "pietra miliare" della zona in quanto supportato anche dalla sua strategica posizione, ossia sul mare e a 50 mt dalla via principale) . Mi attengo quindi solo alla solita (sono un "vecchio cliente") gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, dalle dolci receptionist, ai simpatici e cordiali del personale in sala colazioni, a cui quest'anno è stata aggiunta una bella novità, ossia il bagnino in piscina (Umberto) che ha mostrato la sua esperienza, la sua gentilezza e la sua simpatia, cose non sempre scontate, ma sempre apprezzabili e che fanno piacere. Tra gli hotel che ho visitato ad Ischia, Solemar e’ uno dei più belli. Perfettamente locato , ad un passo dalla spiaggia e dalla passeggio sul porto di Ischia. Dotato di piscina e spa con uno staff gentile e capace. In particolare, il mio soggiorno è stato ancora più gradito grazie anche a Francesca, esperta e responsabile della spa dell’hotel, che definirei”la regina dei massaggi”.

La construcción del Hotel mismo nos encantó y con la profesionalidad de los empleados, especialmente la señora Daniela en la recepción y los demás hacen todo, que el cliente está pasando verdaderamente vacaciones. Doy las gracias a todo el equipo Y ha sido un honor de haber podido ser vuestro cliente. Gracias a ustedes nuestros días eran tan magníficas. Muchísimas gracias mejor imposible. Anche quest’anno la mia tappa ad Ischia si è fermata al Solemar anche se ha cambiato proprietà lo sforzo di tutto il personale è stato di far sentire l’ospite a casa curato e seguito fin dal primo momento in struttura. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata camere pulite e confortevoli Posizione dominante sul mare con accesso diretto alla spiaggia sottostante e piscina gestita in modo eccellente dal bagnino Umberto che è stato di grande accoglienza e professionalità per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Spero in una ristrutturazione a breve della struttura che la renderà ancora più competitiva.

Hotel Solemar is situated along the chain of family beach clubs of Ischia Porto's waterside, in a relatively quiet neighborhood 3-5 minutes walk from the promenade of shops and restaurants that thrive every summer evening. We had a single room facing a tranquil garden lane, and a double room with a large balcony overlooking the beach. Both rooms were spacious enough to accomodate luggage. Wifi in the single was slow, but the oceanview double had flawless wifi; both rooms had excellent cable with many channels, mostly in Italian, of course. The breakfast was better than most hotels, and the daytime front desk staff and housekeeping ladies exerted themselves to be helpful. PROS: -Location! 10 minute walk to ferry/boat docks, 20 minute walk to Castel Aragonese -Pool, beach clubs ($), big seaside balconies available ($) -Breakfast buffet; lobby bar; friendly, helpful staff -Excellent individual air conditioners CONS: -Smaller size showers in some rooms (e.g., tight fits for "super-sized" North Americas) -Rust and wear-and-tear appropriate to a moderate priced, beachfront family hotel
