We booked a room with a sea view and a balcony, king size bed. The view was divine, we were given a room on the 5th floor. The bed is comfortable, there are 2 pillows per person, which we really liked. Cleaning is mediocre, when we checked in, there were cigarette butts on the balcony, but they quickly fixed everything. The towels are a bit hard. Everything is in the room. An ironing board, an iron and a very powerful hair dryer, this is important to me. All accessories for the shower, toothpaste, etc. are all there. Everything is replenished every day. The location is great, clean, not noisy, the view, nearby 300-400 meters cafes, shops, both with alcohol and food. And cheaper than in the center. To the Galata Tower, Istiklal 15 minutes by taxi. It is very convenient to return from the city center to a quiet cool place. The staff is not very friendly, as we are used to this in resort towns on the coast. The most unpleasant thing was when we approached the Russian-speaking girl Feruza at the reception and asked for a restaurant recommendation, since it was her birthday that day. She recommended it and even called us a transfer, we were ready to pay extra for it, but when we got there, we realized that it was a pure scam, the food cost a lot of money. Sea bass for 15 thousand rubles per 1 kg, I haven’t even seen it in Moscow 🙈 It’s good that we said stop in time, because the fuss began, they were bringing dishes…. We got up and left. It was extremely unpleasant from everything. Of course, it’s our own fault, we trusted, although we thought we were already seasoned and know everything, we counted on the human factor of the girl at the reception, it’s supposedly a holiday) But no)) Then I started reading reviews about this supposed restaurant, and my hair stood on end. Don’t get caught, it’s better to study everything yourself and enjoy your meal. Bottom line. The hotel and location are great! Unfortunately, not everyone is friendly. The spa is good, the Balinese girl gives a great massage and washes you in the hamam. The breakfasts are average, the lines for the omelette are really long, there was nothing else tasty for me.
