The hotel is close to the main places in Istanbul so I recommend it

Don't step on the trap. Trash hotel. The service was poor again. Looking at Asian faces with bad attitudes.

Very nice hotel close to everything, the professional staff, I really liked the place. I recommend it, you can't see the terrace because it was closed, it's a shame, but everything else is very good, I give it a 10

The facilities are a bit old and advertised as four stars, but the furniture and decoration are old and the location is very good. It's close to Hagia Sophia, and it's a short walk. There are many restaurants around, but it doesn't taste as good as the Independence Street.

1) The service attitude of the receptionist in the hotel lobby is average😬 2) The bellman explained the floor clearly in the elevator🧳👍🏻 3) I ordered a double bed room, and the first room was two single beds. Immediately call the reception to change rooms, and my response is "there are no double beds in the whole hotel" 🫠 It is recommended that couples and couples write "check-in requirements" 📝 4) Room lighting can choose yellow light/white light💡 5) There is no boxed tissue supply (recommended to buy by yourself)◻️ 5) There is a supply of toiletries 🧴 6) Toothpaste-free toothbrush supply 🪥 7) The power control of the three plugs is broken, sometimes there is no ⚡️🤪 All in all💁🏻‍♀️The lighting in the lobby is dim, I live on the 4th floor and the meeting is noisy. The room is old-fashioned, and it is too attractive, so there is no shadow to the picture, only the main entrance is the same as the lobby 😝 Because the night boat goes to Istanbul, it is convenient to get off the boat and go to 5-8 minutes. First choose this room and stay for one night. There are many hotels along the way to the hotel.🏨😫😩😫

Overall good and clean

The hotel was very nice looking, it was clean, staffs were very friendly and approachable. Very kind to my children. The hotel was in best location you can ever want. Walking distance to every attractions. You have the train station opposite the hotel, and trams stop near by. The train goes to the airport as well. One train change. Breakfast meals rotated, so you don't get the same food on daily base, which was good. Staff had good English. Now the down bit.... I would've given the hotel 5 star, the reason I gave 4 star is because they have Fecility Spa & Fitness in the basement. The staff in the spa department are not child friendly at all. My husband addressed the issue to the manager Orhan Celik, he's respond was very rude and didn't even rectify the issue. My two children went to use the pool, they weren't even loud, I felt soo uncomfortable there felt like curling up, continuously this female staff was saying "shhhhs". She didn't speak English. When ever the water went out of the pool, only happend once! She goes "madam" and made "ta, ta" sound. I felt soo uncomfortable, the kids weren't allowed to speak, laugh, kick in the water or do small jumps! It was a torture. Swimming is supposed to be fun! But it felt like we were suffering. I pulled them out within 10 min and took them to use the jet bath in the room. My husband used the sauna, he said the changing room stank so badly, it was filthy and disgusting. He raised all this with the manager Orhan, and he didn't even bother to solve the issue. He spoke back rudely and gave excuses saying the lady doesn't know how to speak english... but its okay for her to speak like this! Her job is to wipe the floor, and we wasn't even abusing the area. But gets annoyed if there is water drops on the floor! So my husband said if the children can't speak in the pool then you should not allow children to use the pool! He also did not agree with the smell in the changing rooms. He was saying it was normal to smell like this. He was very defensive with everything and had a reason. He did not apologise or sympathise at all.

We were very impressed with the service provided by Shukran at the hotel . When we had some issue with our Instanbul travel card,Shukran walked with us to the nearby train station to help. This level of service,offered so willingly is rare and very much appreciated 👏 👏💐. Thank you Shukran!

I stayed at Hotel Askoç in 2023 in September and November. It wasn't the first time and as always I appreciated the perfect location of the property and the comfort. In November I also had a small accident where I almost broke my wrist. On this occasion the hotel staff were fantastic and supported me in every way. Late in the evening, assistant Ampül helped me with a makeshift bandage. I would like to remember all staff members and thank them: Fevzi, Gülşan, Erkan, Hatan, Biral, Turan, Filiz, Irfan, Tülay, Tüıker, Berhon, Orhan, Sezgin, Alcın. I will always return to the Askoç hotel and highly recommend it.

Staff is very friendly, clean hotel and was a great experienceocerall. Staff also helped me book some great tours and a dinner cruise that I enjoyed! 100% recommend!!!I would definitely come back here

The Hotel is in very central location. Very decent accommodation and good river view room. Check in and check out service was smooth. Concierge very helpful especiall Mr Emam Minus is non availability of kettle in the room.
