We were looking for a hotel for one night before our flight. I wanted to find a hotel that would be close to transport to the airport and would be convenient for exploring the city. We re-read reviews of dozens of hotels with ratings of 7 and above. We were in despair: somewhere the wallpaper and mold were coming off, somewhere there was a smell of sewage, dirt, cockroaches... We didn’t want any of this. And then an offer appeared from the Agoda website at a super weekend price. The reviews were good and we booked Bosphorus. The hotel exceeded all our expectations: it is a modern building with designer finishes (high-tech, not gold). Very clean, beautiful interiors, friendly staff. We didn’t try to speak Russian, but we easily explained ourselves in English. The room is very clean, the toilet is clean, the plumbing is new, there is a good shower. Clean white bed linen of good quality, towels, soap, gel, hair dryer. In one day it is difficult to judge the variety of breakfast in general, but we were counting on a more modest one. Breakfast was filling, good selection of dishes, varied food, nice room. Convenient to go to the main attractions. We just had a nice stroll through the streets (we found 22,000 steps). The price "from the rack" is of course much higher. The location is very good. It was possible to get to the new airport by bus, but we took a taxi because... for three it was only slightly more expensive compared to three bus tickets. I highly recommend this hotel. If we are lucky enough to visit Istanbul again, we will try to stay here.
