How I wanted, how I dreamed of being in this hotel! When I saw the photo I fell in love with the atmosphere! And what a disappointment I was when I checked in. Perhaps this is my carelessness, but I draw your attention to the fact that in the rooms the windows face the hotel atrium, and not the street! You have no way to ventilate the room or open a window and feel privacy. And this is the main huge minus! There was a smell in the room, I still don’t understand what it smelled like, I asked to be moved to another room or at least smell another room, but they refused. The hotel manager came to my room and said that he did not smell it and left me in the room. I don't think this is a 5 star calving service! When you return home, all your things smell of something. Due to the lack of fresh air, the whole atmosphere of the room no longer interested me. At the bottom of the hotel there is a fashionable restaurant, where very decent people relax and, of course, music plays until at least 23:00, and at this time you lie in your dungeon without windows and listen to it all. Don't rely on good internet; it's not in the hotel. Breakfast: set menu, they bring you a standard set (olives, adjika, cheese plate, bread plate, toast in an egg, a piece of borek, shock paste, halva and the egg you choose), you can only choose tea or coffee and the type of omelet. I had two nights and therefore two breakfasts and I want to say that the filling of the cheese plate was different. The waiters only speak English, I didn't feel very comfortable. You won't leave hungry, the food is fresh. They go pouring tea. The filter coffee was not added to the first one. The conclusion is this: if you want the atmosphere of a room and you are ready to wake up without windows, then you can stay for one night! But not more! For breakfast you can

I got intoxicated by the smell of the air freshener. It may have been a coincidence, but the fragrance in the room was so strong that even if I tried to ventilate it, I couldn't get outside air in because there were no windows. I opened the entrance door on the inner hallway side for a while, but the smell didn't go away. I was relieved to be able to check out and breathe the clear air outside.

This is a tricky review to write as generally the hotel stay was fantastic. However the evening noise really ruined the experience for us. It’s a gorgeous hotel in a lovely building. There’s not many rooms, giving it a more independent boutique vibe to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was a very easy process. The room was very clean and very spacious. A lot of storage space, and a nicely done bathroom with good water pressure and temperature. Daily room service. Mini bar and free tea/coffee/bottled water. We got breakfast included with was a set menu and it was excellent. Variety of cheeses, eggs, dips, breads and salad, with either tea or coffee. Really tasty and really filling. The wifi was a bit patchy but nothing significant. The setting of the hotel is lovely. The rooms are upper floor surrounding the dining area in a courtyard style. Which brings me to the only negative - but unfortunately it impacted our stay. The restaurant is open to non-guests and in the evening is open to midnight, 00:30 on weekends. And throughout the evening the restaurant plays very loud music - almost like a bar. Not very relaxing, and not conducive to sleep. We got around it - we started the day late and stayed out late however I’m a good sleeper and can sleep though a lot but needed ear plugs if the music was still going. The noise level does not seem appropriate for a hotel. It’s very weird - all the hotel needs to do is turn the volume down maybe from 10:30/11pm onwards - I think this would be much more reasonable. If it weren’t for the music I’d be giving this hotel a 5 star glowing review. If you think you can deal with the noise, or you’re up for joining them, then I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Unique hotel. Nice room in a vaulted ceiling room. Well positioned for the older part of Istanbul, but as a result not as many places to go in the evenings. Central part of the hotel is stunning with fountain and beautiful bar, although loud in the evening. Spiral staircase to access rooms is aesthetically pleasing but a touch scary after a couple of cocktails!

I was curious about the bar and restaurant. I wanted to look, but the person standing at the door was polite!!! The friend said he couldn't let me in. Is your restaurant only for hotel guests? Disgusting and insolent welcome. Soon you will hit the lock....

We had an amazing stay. The atmosphere is magical. Takes you back to the centuries ago. Staff is so helpful and kind. Especially Gaffur from reception. He is a true gentleman and gem for the hotel. We will definitely come back. Thank you for unforgettable experience
