I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

All the staff are most helpful and friendly. The rooms are very modern and the location is very good for all you want to do in the Old Town. Restaurant has some great meals and the breakfast buffet was terrific and extensive. The views are fantastic there too! A slight problem we had was sorted out professionally and promptly. We were most impressed with this hotel and highly recommend it.

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

I start to write a fair review about this hotel. First of all the staff were so polite and friendly they tried their best to help everyone. 1.They cleaned the rooms and recharged the room amenities such as instant coffee, tea bags, water, soap, shampoos and etc. 2. Each room has an Electric Kettle so you can make tea and coffee whenever you want. 3. The room has a safe box so you can keep your stuff in it. 4. The breakfast is awesome and fresh and they change some part of it everyday. 5. Our room was at the 5th floor and it had a sunroof. The room was so cozy and clean. 6. The location of the hotel is close to Taksim square. ( Most of the Istanbul streets are not flat. We were okay with it or you can choose to take a taxi). 7. The bathroom was so clean and unique.

I have a very good experience in hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful . Specially front desk Elver and Mahmut. Next time when I will visit Istanbul , I will stay hotel My dream Istanbul hotel . Also they serve very good breakfast, on up floor with beautiful views on city and sea.

The best , the staff is professional and kind very good people ,the breakfast was amazing the rooms are small but fancy ,clean and very nice. My friend and I were staying at Mount Ararat Hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Even though we barely stayed in our room, the room had everything what we needed after a long day outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and during the evening the neighbourhood became very lively with locals and tourists. We were happy that after a tiring day we could grab some food and drinks with our hotel in the close proximity. On our last evening Saleh helped us arranging the transport to the airport which was top-notch! On the other hand, we had an arrangement with breakfast included and it was slightly disappointing. It was buffet with various choices of food and drinks but my friend and I are a little bit fussy. We preferred to grab something on our way to the city centre. It is not a deal breaker though. All in all, good value for money. We were satisfied about our choice and would definitely come back.

I drove in Turkey for half a month and stayed in more than 10 hotels. I must come to praise this hotel. 1. First of all, the location is excellent. Take the airport bus No. 16 to Taksim Square and walk to the hotel. Next to it is the five-star Ramada, which is very convenient for eating and shopping; 2. The hotel is relatively clean. The most troublesome thing in Turkey is the hygiene standard. The five-star hotel is also unsatisfactory. I hope the boss will continue to work hard on the hygiene standard; 3. We booked the 18-square-meter room, which is spacious enough, the bathroom is also sufficient, and the details are fully considered; 4. In addition to the facilities, the attitude and ability of the boss to solve problems reflect whether a hotel is good or not. There was a little episode on the first day of check-in, and the boss solved it perfectly. I give the boss a thumbs up; 5. When I come to Turkey again, this is the only hotel I want to stay in. Welcome everyone to experience it.

Perfect location in the old town of Sultanahmet. To the main attractions Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace you walk in 10/15 minute. Down to the seaside with a park and a walkway along the shore in 7 minutes. This small hotel is in a narrow sidestreet with little traffic. Rooms are a bit small buit nicely furnished and they are clean. Some with balcony facing the sea or terrace. Double glas windows to prevent the noise of the main steet below the hotel which is on the hillside. Good breakfast with a great variety and excellent view on the roof top. Keep in mind that this is the main tourist area of Istanbul where everything is expensive. There are many Restaurants in this place but you hardly find a breakfast for less than 10 Dollars. So all in all the Seatanbul is very good value for money. Mr. Kayhan at the reception speaks perfct english and is a very friendly and helpfull man. I highly can recommend this place.
