The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered and I have had some bad experiences…. I’ll try to make the long story short but let’s start off with Carrie… her attitude, professionalism, did not coincide with someone who made sure I knew that she had been in the hotel business for “20 years” and at this property for “14 years”… my card was compromised on 5.12.2022, on Friday 5.13 of all days I call the hotel around 2:30 in the afternoon to indicate that I would be arriving late… and the worst attitude proceeded… the card on file needs to be updated or this reservation will be canceled… I call my cousin being the fact I have no card at this time because it was compromised to ask for his card information… when I called back I was advised the reservation had been canceled when I was already advised it’s okay to call my cousin to get the details updated and this was all done within 30 minutes… I call Marriott reservation who was able to book the hotel keeping the original rate terms… called back hotel to let them know inwilk be arriving late as my cousins flight will be inn be late and was advised I was banned from the property for no other reason than for Carrie to essentially have the last laugh and last Say… furthermore, that is not the expectation originally communicated… the original communication was that I would need to book again which i did… this was not the most joyous occasion if you know what I mean… and I ended up being in route to Jacksonville with no place to stay that night at a rate that would have worked for both my cousin and I. I can only assume that if and when the business responds it will be from none other than Carrie the general manager who I’ll warn you in advance will try to make every negative review sound like the customer is in the wrong and she is in the right… she also advised her front desk manager Morgan that I was using profanity and had poor etiquette and that is defamation of character… no one was belittled, insulted or anything she was just having a bad day she chose to take it out on me after I did exactly what was asked and updated my reservation… I hope others have a more positive experience but Carrie needs to take a look at the woman in the mirror and improve on her hospitality ASAP

During my stay on April 2024, I was disappointed to find that the hotel didn't have a coffee/tea maker in the room, an iron, an iron desk, or an alarm clock, as per the booking description and booking confirmation. When I asked for the items at the front desk, the employee said they had never had them and suggested that the mistake was mine because I booked from a third-party provider, which is wrong. I booked directly using the Wyndham app. The room was filthy, with running cockroaches, a dirty bathroom and a broken toilet lid. The breakfast was abysmal compared to other Wyndham hotels, and some employees barely speak English, unable to explain where requested items are located.

Thank you so much for the incredible staff at the hotel, they were so kind and accommodating. Definitely enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel if your are near the airport. They also provide a free shuttle service to the airport. Once again the Staff are amazing

I have been a guest of this hotel in February, March, June and July, 2022. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming! The check in is always first class! Ivonne is amazing, so efficient, professional and kind! Alli has helped me too! The rooms are very clean, organized and very quiet. I have stayed on the 2nd, 5th and 6th floors. Housekeeping is very efficient. The $1 breakfast is fantastic! Mila and Nina and the cook ladies are wonderful! The food is very good and a good selection too! I have been in touch with Mr. Lowe, the General Manager on several occasions to touch base prior to my many stays. He is the ultimate professional and it shows in his staff and leadership. I am SO very grateful to Mr. Lowe, the amazing Ivonne, Alli, Mila, Nina, Housekeeping and others as well! I will return soon to my home away from home, Holiday Inn, Orange Park, Florida! Thank you! Great experience. The power went out due to the hurricane Helene. Despite the computers being down, Michelle opened up the coffee bar and took down orders by pen and paper to get breakfast and coffee out the old fashioned way. She showed me the outlets backed up by the generator so I could charge my phone and work on my computer. Total life saver.

We drove from Pennsylvania and already called to let the front desk know that we would arrive late maybe past midnight. The gentleman on the phone was very pleasant reassuring us the service is 24/7 so we should be fine getting our room when we were there. We reached the hotel around 2:45am and the lady at the front desk had so bad attitude saying we had to wait 35-40 minutes because she was having an audit without checking if we already called to check in and to inform the hotel our situation. I was speechless of how thoughtless she was looking at us all exhausted after the long drive reaching the hotel so late at night and still asked us to wait for 35-40 minutes. She made us accept that audit was something important for her and we had to wait until she finished her audit. I’m sorry but this is unacceptable for regular customer service let alone Doubletree managed by Hilton which always has top of the line service. I was so upset and later apologized for it with her and told her I was driving so far and I was tired but she didn’t even glance at me and just threw such look-down-upon attitude at us. She should be the one who apologized for the wait but I was decent enough to do that first. I just can’t really can’t imagine how such a person with poor communication skills, poor interpersonal skills can work as a front desk, the key role for customer service at hotel industry. The 3 point on the scale I put was for the comfort of the room itself.
