We booked two rooms in the hotel. One for my children and one for us as a couple. We loved both rooms. The location is suitable and distance friendly to most attractions and the staff members go beyond the normal service to make you feel at home. Adora from the front desk was extremely helpful and caring towards us. She sent us a list of children a activities in the hotel and helped us when feeling sick sending us a basket of fruit and some porridge. She even met us the day we left go give us a present from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious offering many options and the rooms very spacious and clean. Thank you Adora and Intercontinental hotel - xishuanbanna is beautiful and the hotel is the perfect combination to this trip.

The room is big and beautiful. Even the smallest rooms have private pools. The hotel brought us a large plate of fruit upon arrival which was nice to us. The staff were super helpful and courteous. We checked out of the hotel but our flight was cancelled. We had to re-check in. After checking in, I realized that I had accidentally thrown the medicine in the trash. I talked to Li Tianjiao, the front desk manager, and she told me not to be nervous, she would let the housekeeper find my medicine in the hotel rubbish. I want to do it myself. I didn't want to disturb the housekeeper, but the hotel insisted that I rest in the room and let the housekeeper do the dirty work. Wei Qiongzhen room service found my medicine and returned it to me right away. I am grateful that this medicine is not an ordinary prescription. Very expensive. If this were to happen in the US, there would be no way the hotel would have gone through so much trouble to help me. I stay here every time I visit. All the Wanda hotels I stayed in were great!

I really can't believe that there is such an affordable and comfortable swimming pool hotel in Xishuangbanna, and it is very close to the Starlight Night Market, and the style is also unique. The rooms are all wooden, which looks simple and elegant, and the soft lighting makes it more warm and comfortable. The pink wave pool is an indispensable place for Internet celebrities to check in at the hotel. Take out your camera and take a picture at will. The Southeast Asian-style thatched house is also very photogenic. The hotel's super large infinity pool is a great choice for swimming in the pool on a hot afternoon. Who knows! Absolutely! There are also pink and tender macarons, as if you are on vacation in Southeast Asia or Bali, directly dominating the circle of friends. The hotel also has a restaurant, afternoon tea, bar, laundry room, gym, and the facilities are very complete. The hotel also provides free car pick-up to the night market, etc. The scenic spot room also meets the standard. You can see the swimming pool from the balcony in the room. The housekeeper asks about the itinerary and check-in time one day in advance, and provides luggage guidance for check-in and free shuttle bus to Gaozhuang Xishuangjing! It's so comfortable that I don't want to leave!

What a cool place!! Our friends recommended to go there as they had just stayed in this brand new hotel and loved it. We were not disappointed, the rooms are so beautiful, the balcony was our absolute highlight (at day at night time) with the white furniture, the plants and the lights. Shower is really great and overall amazing design of the entire room and the entire hotel!!! Service was really good and warm, a very sweet and kind lady named Xiao Xu took such great care of us and it was super easy to communicate with her in WeChat, so foreigners feel welcome and well taken care of in this hotel!! She really made a great difference for us, also compared to some other experiences when traveling in China. The location of the hotel is so cool, you’re right in the middle of a small and cute part of the city, super close to the river and where many restaurants, bars, temples are. The pool is just amazing, on roof top, good size, great view, small pool bar with all you can wish for! This hotel was exactly what we wanted and actually what most people want when they stay in Xishuangbanna. We absolutely recommend to stay there, we have looked at other places before and when we passed by just because we were curious, but this was the one we liked most from design, location and again, that balcony!!!!

Stayed for two nights at the end of February. It is very close to the Xingguang Night Market, and it takes only 10 minutes to walk there. The environment is very good, and it is also suitable for punching in and taking pictures, which is very good. The toilet in the room is very advanced, fully automatic, even the lid is automatically opened and closed by sensing people😂 The free pick-up service is very good, one car, one order, no carpooling with other people. The master arrived a long time in advance. As a result, our plane was delayed and the master waited for more than an hour. He didn't complain, and he was still kind and enthusiastic, and he even introduced us the itinerary. Their family also provides a chartered car service, but we won't show embarrassment if we don't charter a car. The rooms along the road will have a bit of car horns at 9 and 10 o'clock in the evening, and the hotel has prepared disposable earplugs. But I usually don't need to go to bed after 12 o'clock. There is a garbage truck outside at 8 o'clock in the morning, which keeps going around and playing music, which is a bit annoying and disturbs people's dreams. I don’t know if people who live in Gaozhuang will have this problem😂 The breakfast buffet cannot be said to be very rich, but there are also porridge, stir-fried vegetables, multigrain cakes, and freshly ground coffee. The next rice noodle tastes good too. Generally speaking, the price/performance ratio of 500 a night is still high.

We could not say enough nice things about this hotel. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing 10 days which was just what was required after a busy semester at work. The two young ladies and one young man at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind (I only know two of their names, Xiao Luo and Xiao Xiang). They were not over bearing and in our faces ever. They were able to help us with every request we asked for when we wanted or needed something. Having a language barrier was never a problem and they were so attentive to our needs via wechat. They were prepared to help with a driver to any sightseeing you wanted to do. There’s great restaurants and things to see and do within walking distance of the hotel too. The cleaning staff were very pleasant from the lady around the pool to the lady cleaning our room. Breakfast had two options, noodles or rice congee, it was always served with a great number of side dishes, more than enough choice from cereal, eggs, bread, as well as milk, a number of freshly prepared vegetables. Due to the great breakfast we rarely ate lunch. You just didn’t need to. We rescued a dog while in Xishuangbanna which the reception staff were really helpful with some of the things we needed to do with the dog! We have stayed in many hotels around the world and Lying Cloud was definitely a highlight. Great location, clean and modern room with good amenities, wonderful front desk staff, clean and well maintained pool and outdoor area at a very, very reasonable price. This hotel came recommended to us via a colleague and we would highly recommend it to other foreigners and Chinese friends too!

You can enjoy the lake and the scenery, and you can see that the boss has put a lot of thought into it. The sister at the front desk was very enthusiastic and helped us upgrade the room type for free. But other experiences can only be said to be average, and the reasons are as follows: 1. Objective factors interfere with rest. There is a building under construction at the gate, and it will start on time at 8:00 in the morning. Don't even think about sleeping late or sitting in the courtyard during the day. Of course, this belongs to the external environment, and it is not transferred by the will of the store. There is really no way, so it is not a big problem for me to go out early to visit the scenic spots. 2. The service cannot keep up, including two issues of hygiene and service awareness. We booked two rooms for three nights. On the first day, there was a mistake of not closing the door of the guest's room after cleaning. Since we didn't have anything missing, we didn't report it to the boss. And the garbage that fell next to the trash can can still be seen the next day, and it seems that it has not been cleaned after cleaning. On the third day, no one tidied up the room. Not to mention changing the bedding, at least the garbage must be thrown away. The staff told the auntie that she didn't come to work, and asked us to collect the garbage by ourselves and put it at the door. If my aunt doesn't come to work tomorrow, do I need to mop the floor by myself? These things, big or small, discouraged us from renewing the lease. The service industry regards service as the product, and the successful operation depends on the individual efforts of the boss alone, but also requires the joint efforts of the team. It is recommended that the boss improve the service awareness of the staff. Don't really have a guest lose something. When the praise of careful marketing collapses, it's too late to try to remedy it.

The hotel is located in a villa complex in Wanda. The surrounding ecological environment is good, but it is very far from the city center and various attractions. Taxi is more than 30 yuan. Some Didi drivers are reluctant to go, and the fare is increased at night, and the transportation is inconvenient. When I made a reservation, I specifically called and asked. The boss said it was very convenient. I don't know if it was the peak tourist season, so it was difficult to take a taxi. Finally, we chartered a car for two days to solve this traffic problem. The hotel does not provide breakfast, only takeaways are available, and there is a snack shop only 15 minutes away. The room facilities are a little outdated. Two of the four bedside lamps are broken. There are basically no facilities as mentioned on Ctrip. The villa mentioned in the picture does not have Chinese restaurant, coffee shop, business center, lobby bar, bar and other facilities! ! ! I don't know how Ctrip wrote such an introduction, it's too pitiful! ! !

My mother and I came to the long-awaited Xishuangbanna for a trip. Accommodation is really important when traveling! So we went straight to the high-quality and comfortable hotel. Fortunately, this one really lived up to our expectations. As soon as we stepped into the hotel, someone picked up our luggage, one-to-one butler service, airport pick-up, and sightseeing bus in the park... Their electricity card and room card are separate, so you don't have to turn off the power in the room when you go out. After a day of playing, it's so cool to be able to go directly to the air-conditioned room. Smart toilet, high-end bathroom, two semi-partitioned rooms, there is also a TV in front of the bathtub, and there are also refrigerators and drinks. The hair dryers are all Dyson. There is also a hearty breakfast and an infinity pool. Next to the pool is the Lancang River, and the White Elephant Beach and the Banna Twin Towers can also be seen directly. It's really a one-stop check-in and enjoyment in the hotel, so satisfying.
