Connection of hotel is well-established. Apart from taking High Speed Rail, there is direct coach from HK to the hotel. Hotel room is spacious, sound-proofed and clean. However, we would like to make the following feedbacks and expect for improvement: (1) Water leakage of the curb at shower; (2) It was difficult to use TV remote to control the TV. Not sure if it was the battery problem or signal receiving issue (3) Vending machines at G/F lobby only accept WeChat and Alipay but not AlipayHK (4) Taste of food in western restaurant can be improved

I have stayed here several times before, and the price/performance ratio is quite high. The room is actually very large and the view is great.  Facilities: It really needs to be maintained. The water in the bathroom basically leaks to the toilet, which is very slippery. The bathtub is completely unusable and always leaks. Hygiene:  Average  Environment: Because it is a corner, there are many cars nearby and there are many large vehicles in the factory area. Fortunately, there are enough parking spaces if you drive by yourself . Service: It is quite enthusiastic and has tried its best to meet the needs of the guests  Although the breakfast is simple, the product is still good. 

I really loved the room. Everything was clean and comfortable. Cito and carina were so helpful and kind. With customer service like that, I will surely book with this hotel again. The only downfall of the room was the air conditioning. It was too hot outside for the thermostat to have restrictions. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Advantages: 1. The hotel staff informed the relevant information and matters of check-in in advance via WeChat, and the breakfast was also quite rich. 2. After getting off at Kaiping South Station, there is an 8-yuan bus to Chikan Ancient Town. Chikan Ancient Town also has free buses to Liyuan and other scenic spots, which is also very friendly to tourists. 3. The scenery of the scenic area is very good and it is beautiful to take pictures. The fire show (iron flower) performance is beautiful. Disadvantages: 1. It is a bit chaotic to wait for the shuttle bus when checking in. Several hotels in the scenic area are waiting for the check-in shuttle bus at the same location, and they don’t distinguish which hotel. Guests staying in Changsheng do not need to register, and other Meitang hotels need to register. Because there are many tourists on weekends, it is very chaotic. Those who arrive later get on the bus first. There is no order, and the waiting guests have a lot of complaints. I hope each hotel will open separately to pick up their own guests. 2. Except for the Grandmaster, there are almost no seats for other performances. It is very tiring to stand and watch, especially for adults and children with children. 3. There are too few restaurants in the scenic area. The tea restaurant is full. It is reported that no food has been served for half an hour, and there are few waiters. There are not many seats in the small shops on the snack street. After waiting for a long time, the roast meat, radish and vermicelli shops were all gone. I could only go to several shops and order a little bit of each. I really hope that the service will be strengthened and well prepared on weekends and holidays, otherwise the experience will be really discounted! I experienced the rowing boat and the scenery along the way was very good. I didn’t experience the Ding Ding car, it felt expensive!

This should be the best hotel in Chikan Ancient Town. The location, design and rooms are all very good. In terms of hardware alone, it should be the first choice for vacation in the ancient town. However, it must be pointed out that the service still needs to be improved and does not fully match the hardware. Among them, the front desk, waiters and room attendants are polite and the service is online. The WeChat service has some flaws, but considering the large number of people during the National Day, it is acceptable. What makes people feel unhappy is the dinner time in the restaurant. When asking if there is a seat, the girl at the front desk of the restaurant only said coldly with a dark face: Go inside and ask the manager. (Lack of basic guidance and politeness, the point is that there is a big gap compared with the service in other links of the hotel) But objectively speaking, there is no problem with the breakfast service, the guidance is clear, the cleaning is timely, and the variety and taste of the food are also satisfactory. Service is a difficult problem after all. I hope Meitang can do better.

I have been paying attention to the relevant information about Chikan Ancient Town since the summer vacation, and finally made a trip during the National Day holiday. 1. This time I booked a family room at Chaoqi Family Hotel, the only family hotel in the ancient town. It accommodates 2 adults and 3 children (two of them are 12 years old 😂). The 2 beds are just right. I booked it from now on From the beginning of the hotel, there is a customer service butler + WeChat to arrange accommodation matters (how many people are staying, registration of license plate number, check-in process, dining options, etc.). The service is in place and very attentive👍🏻. The supplies prepared in the hotel are also prepared per person. . The only small regret is that this room type does not have a balcony. What I thought was a bunk bed is actually a children's play area, but it is very empty. It would be better if it was decorated more. When I left the hotel, I was given 2 boxes of small cookies. 2. There is a children's play area and a water splash area in the nest. The children's play area has a wave pool, a slide, a building block table, and a book corner. It is very suitable for children to play here. However, maybe due to the new decoration, there is still a slight smell and the ventilation needs to be strengthened. As for the water play area, the housekeeper There was a reminder to bring swimsuits, but we didn’t go play in the water, so I won’t comment. 3. Catering: The package I ordered included breakfast and a main meal. I chose the buffet style for breakfast and ate it at Meitang Hotel. Although there were not many varieties, the taste was still good (I forgot to take pictures); I chose the main meal option. Xinglong Beef Hot Pot, a meal for 2 people. I ordered 2 more dishes, but all 4 of us almost didn't finish it. The portion size and taste were okay. In fact, there are many dining options in the scenic area, but the package includes them so I can’t try anything else. 4. The location of the hotel: Chaoqi is not in the center of the ancient town. It is next to two squares and close to Situ Pier. It is very close to the scenic spots in the picture and it is not very noisy at night, unlike Meitang Hotel and Yiyi Hotel. Like Xi Hotel, there is a camping bar or snack street downstairs. 5. It’s a bit hot during the two days of National Day, so I can’t visit all the attractions in the ancient town. I can only check in the attractions near the hotel. It is recommended that after entering the scenic area, you first take the Dangdang bus (tram), which costs 50 oceans per person, and goes around the outskirts of the ancient town. Walk around and get to know the layout of the entire scenic spot first, then walk slowly and check in. You don’t have to be like us, wandering around like a blind fly on the first day without being able to tell the difference between east, west, north and south 😂. You can also feed pigeons at the entrance of Christ Church during the day (but the food for feeding pigeons is expensive in my opinion, 2 small bags cost 15 oceans, and you can feed them all in one go😂) 6. I heard from the staff that the ancient town was only opened to the public in January 2023, so there are still many facilities or shops under construction. I hope there will be opportunities for a second visit in the future.

Facilities: The hotel is very new, the selected room is with a balcony, you can see the street view by opening the door. Next to several small attractions in the ancient town, it is convenient to go out at night. Environment: Quiet around, I heard that the hotel was renovated from the old building, full of retro atmosphere. I have traveled to several hotels in the ancient town, this one is one of the most distinctive in addition to Meitang. Close to the small stage, you can occasionally hear the Cantonese opera performance next door on the balcony of the room, and the sense of time and space is full. Service: One of the most impressive points in this trip, you can feel the meticulous service from the beginning of entering the park. Every hospitality staff is professional and enthusiastic, and the attitude is super nice. When we finally parted, the service housekeeper Miss Yu Shishi helped us carry our luggage to the shuttle bus all the way, and also presented small biscuits prepared by the hotel, which was very warm. The shuttle bus master also patiently guided us to other attractions how to take a ride, so that the follow-up itinerary would be more smooth. In summary, although the ancient town is still being improved, many shops have not yet settled, but the overall service is mature and the atmosphere is beautiful. I will continue to choose this hotel next time. ～

We booked a large bed for a family trip, but we brought two children. The hotel provided a bed guard and a baby stroller to solve the problem of children sleeping. It was very friendly. The room was very clean, the hotel interior was neat and elegant, the breakfast was rich, but the milk was a bit bad. Other things were generally good, and there was a shuttle bus.

The hotel is very new, the room size is just right, suitable for couples or couples. The entire hotel interior is pink, just right with the recent Barbie wave. The service is very good. The housekeeper has been in contact with me. I like Chen Qiuyu's service. There is a shuttle bus for pick-up and drop-off, and the room is clean. A small suggestion, the room lacks a dirty clothes basket and a luggage rack, it is inconvenient to have no place to put luggage; The room also lacks a Bluetooth speaker, and it is not too much to put a Bluetooth speaker in this price ratio. Special praise for the barbecue downstairs at night, it's really atmospheric I hope that the town can have more entertainment facilities for children, and I will take the children there next time.

The room is very new and large, with no mosquitoes. Although the room is on the second floor, the hotel staff will help with the luggage and meet any needs. They will help call a car for pick-up. I am very satisfied and have a very good impression of Chikan Ancient Town. It is a place suitable for daydreaming, drinking, chatting and enjoying life.
