Villa Shenandoah is a classy small hotel locating on the mountain being away from traffic and noise of cars of a big city Kandy. The hotel landscape has been occupied by big trees and beautiful flowers that offer guests relax and peaceful atmosphere. The main building where lobby and dining room situated is in a colonial style, classy decorated and well-maintained. The room which I stayed for couple nights was beautiful, well-equipped, clean and with balcony that overlooked beautiful mountain view and clear blue sky. Breakfast was yummy and good quality. Services were incredible and reliable. Staffs were very attention to details and professional. I felt truly relax and happy while staying at this hotel and do hope to come back again.

Kandy only stayed for one night and stayed at this hotel. It was so ideal that I was very satisfied. But if you are asking for a senior in a five-star hotel, this is not for you. It is quiet, beautiful, kind and customs, everything has a sense of history, the swimming pool is very beautiful, but you can only wait for the sun to swim, otherwise it is too cold

The hotel is on the top of the mountain, the driver has to drive for a long time to come, and built on an oversized slope, our car is also difficult to go up.

Amaya hills Kandy located within scenic mountain ranges in the heritage charm of the kingdom of Kandy. The Amaya Hills Kandy has the architecture and charm and culture of the city of Kandy ruled by the last Sinhalese king Sri Vikrama Rajasinha (1780-1832) till 1815 when the British deposed him and was succeeded by Gerrge III after holding out against colonial powers the Dutch and the Portugese The Amaya Hills reception has a Statue of the last king at the reception which is a huge open and deep balcony offering nearly 300 degrees of splendid views of the mountains The hotel is complete with swimming pool and the breakfast and dinner we had were splendid and had many authentic Sinhalese dishes.. The rooms are open to a balcony and it is a treat to have tea viewing the magnificent mountains.. The level of hospitality matches the famed Celonese hospitality and will be remembered for long and a must experience in Sri Lanka visit..

There is a separate access control, private is enough, but it is not very convenient. When the room with prepaid money has been checked in, I have to go to the amaya hills hotel. The most frightening thing is that I have told me that the order has been cancelled. I have been tossing for a long time, and the system is not professional. The environment is very beautiful, the facilities are old, and the room usually does not pay attention to the smell of ventilation. Chinese food can be chosen in the villa where you live or go to the hotel. My suggestion is to go to the hotel to eat, the buffet choice is not bad. In short, it is the standard of ordinary hotel.
