The hotel is right by the lake, close to many major attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Furthermore, rooms are spotlessly clean. Service is excellent.

Hotel staffs were excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. Hair dryer was on request. From the room we could see a fine view of the temple in the night

I was scared to book due to the mixed reviews. I was also scared as the lake view room is right at the busy street.
Yes, it is very busy, but the rooms are quite soundproof. You still here some noise from the street but it is not much.
The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. True class! Staff is very friendly too, with a great restaurant at the ground floor.
If you are walking, it is very dangerous to cross the street to and from the hotel, it would be great if the park guard could assist.
Please note that there are only UK plugs in the room, so you'll need a converter if you have a different plug type.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. The location is excellent. The bathroom was clean, and there were no bugs. As it's a city hotel, the room was a bit small. There was a slight stain on the bedsheet, but they promptly changed it when I asked. The breakfast was lavish, and it was a luxurious way to start the day.

This was a really great hotel – excellent location and service. The views of Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Tooth Relic from our room were amazing! The restaurant served delicious food, and breakfast had generous portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The interior design was clean and luxurious, which I appreciated. They didn't have a hairdryer in the room, but the front desk brought one up when I asked. It was inconvenient that there were no power outlets near the sink or mirror. The amenities were minimal, and there was no toothpaste. Even though they cleaned the room, the towels weren't replaced.

Located near the Temple of the Tooth. But then again, the entire area around Kandy Lake isn't that big. I stayed for one night, and the facilities and service were all quite good. It felt a bit like a domestic three-star hotel. The room was pretty spacious and even had air conditioning, which is a rare treat in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was decent too.
