Long review alert; Stay: 29th Dec to 1st Jan 25 A very good stay, Marriott property next to Vaishno Devi has come as an additional blessing, I would say. We clubbed our pilgrimage with a leisure trip and we were able to do it in Katra because of Marriott. The entire staff is also welcoming and ensures that you have a comfortable stay. Beyond the room which is already good, overlooking the shrine . The food adds 5 more stars to the experience. Chef Nitin is an outstanding guy who delivers the excellent taste with no after effects such as heaviness. On a conversation with him, he mentioned, he uses some herbs to make it as easy as possible on your stomach and gut. He made us local delicacies for us . Plus the restaurant staff is very helpful and always smiling, Anuj helped me with home made tea just as I like. Uma Shanker on top of every request . At the FD, Mohit helped me with the check-in, then Faiz and Deepak helped me throughout the stay for 3 nights. And so many other members, ( unfortunately can’t recall the names) made this a memorable stay. The hotel manager Ravi also ensured we had a great stay. Must visit. However, the kids zone may need some improvement.

An absolute bang for the buck, the food is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and luxurious and you get a spectacular view of the shrine especiallyduring the night, the staff is really helpful and professional even with the visit to the shrine.
