In view of previous reviews, we had some apprehension before arriving at the hotel. We were ultimately pleasantly surprised! The staff is very kind and available, we were able to book the excursions easily, the rooms are clean, spacious and the view from the room is magnificent, the buffet is varied, so there is something for everyone. A big thank you to the 3 receptionists, the Chinese guides, Luis the snowmobile guide, Marie the Northern Lights guide, Latif the bartender and the bus drivers ❄️❄️❄️

The hotel is located about 2 hours from Rovaniemi, very remote but extremely beautiful! We had a chalet, it was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The nearest supermarket is about 40 minutes away, there are no options for food or activities other than those at the hotel. The activities, ski school and generally the guys at the ski rental were great and the price was more than fair. Other attractions such as skimobiles (20 minutes of driving and 60 minutes of grilling sausages for over €400 for 2 children and 2 adults) were more than a rip off. The husky ride was also presented a little differently. We paid just under €380 for a 7-minute ride and not with huskies but with racing dogs. Without question, this is an experience, but everything was communicated to us completely differently in the hotel. Maybe the prices are normal for Finland, but we found them to be significantly too expensive and not appropriate.

We were a bit worried by the reviews for this hotel when we read them after seeing it would be our base for our family trip to Lapland, we needn’t have been. The hotel itself is beautiful, overlooking fantastic floodlit slopes at the ski resort. The bar and restaurant area was lovely and the food was excellent! A bit of something for everyone from kids options, to nice adult options (pork in a creamy mushroom sauce, beef stew, meatballs etc) and the odd local dish like pickled fish which was delicious! Service was excellent and the staff were nothing but friendly. Enjoyed the Sauna and gym. Pool a bit chilly, probably best used as a plunge pool in between saunas rather than an activity for kids. The rooms were modern and really well done. They even had drying cabinets for all your wet clothes at the end of the day. Would come here on a ski holiday it was so good!

We had an excellent stay in this establishment at the foot of the ski slopes. The view is magnificent both from the rooms and from the restaurant. Possibility of taking superb walks in the countryside... The staff is pleasant and available. The rooms are clean (you have to ask for cleaning). Everything is made available free of charge and with complete confidence for the additional activities (snowshoes, sleds and cross-country skiing of very good quality). A big thank you to our guide Yolaine, always ready to answer our questions, to Alex our driver, ready to play with the children, and Nicolas and Marku for explaining the culture and stories of Lapland to us! We come back delighted with our stay.
