Magical
Oh my goodness where do I start. This was by far the most magical part of our trip. The stillness, the sightings, the delicious menu, the friendly staff. Definitely want to return. Thank you for amazing stay.

Travel light to the lodge - you only need warm clothes and a waterproof coat. Bring a good quality phone/camera as the wild life is stunning.

Als ik iets mag aanraden is dit zeker the place to be in Zuid -Afrika. Mijn zus en ik waren enorm onder de indruk van ons hele verblijf. Wij hebben er 2 nachten verbleven en hebben 4 safaris mogen doen met als "REERCE" als onze gids. TOP KEREL . Hij weet op alle vragen een antwoord of het nu gaat over dieren of planten. Ik wil zeker ook het ander personeel niet vergeten, Nicolas uit België, Taylor en Mimie de managers van de keuken. En het hele team. Wij zijn enorm dankbaar aan iedereen

Als Safari begeisterte war ich zum ersten Mal nicht nur in den SAN Parks - sondern mit meinem fast Teenager für drei Nächte im Sibuya und es war toll! Das Team - welches einen schon in Kenton in the sea begrüßt bis zum Team im Forest Camp sowie alle, die man aus den anderen zwei Camps kennenlernten - eine große Familie. Der respektvolle und herzliche Umgang im Team sowie mit den Gästen war herausragend. Die Logistik hinter dem Erlebnis für uns detailliert ausgeklügelt und für den Gast nicht merkbar. Und der Urlaub beginnt mit Abgabe der Koffer, spätestens mit dem ersten Getränk auf dem Boot bei der Anreise zum Camp! Unser Zelt erinnerte uns an das Zelt bei der Quidditch Weltmeisterschaft in Harry Potter - unglaublich gemütlich, dabei geräumig - die Duschen ein Traum (insbesondere die Aussendusche nach einer morgen Safari hat mich begeistert)… die Badewanne war verlockend - aber bei der Wasserknappheit haben wir sie ignoriert. Abends ins Zelt zu kommen, in dem nach Wunsch schon ein Feuer brannte, war perfekt. Die Safari Fahrten waren super - mein Highlight: im Jeep umringt von grasenden Büffeln beim Sonnenuntergang - Natur pur. Haben wir alles gesehen - nein! Aber darum geht es für mich bei Safari auch nicht. Es geht um in der Natur sein - und auch wenn wir alles gegeben haben, die Löwen wollten dieses Mal einfach nicht gefunden werden. Ist zum Glück eben Natur und kein überflüssiger Zoo! Und mein Fast-Teenager? Der fand es super! Ist nun stolzer Junior Ranger (inklusive mündlicher und praktischer Prüfung beim Senior Guide), genoss es, abends mit Guide und Koch zu angeln und hat so viele neue Dinge gegessen, wie ich es lange nicht erlebt hatte. Das Essen ist auch einfach top!!! Also große Empfehlung!

Our stay at the Sibuya River Camp was amazing. With Mashudu we had a wonderful guide, who has so much knowledge about the Reserve and its inhabitants. We saw a lot of animals, including 4 of the Big 5, and learned a lot of facts about birds too! We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Sibuya is a very special place on earth!! Even the journey by boat is an experience. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the whole team, who are incredibly great. Julie is incredibly lovely and humorous. We were spoiled the whole day, we laughed and sang a lot. The food is delicious and even a bed bottle is provided for the night. The tents are great and a special experience, the beds are super comfortable. We couldn't have imagined a better game driver for the safari than CJ. She is such a lovely person and her love for nature and the animals is palpable - she loves her work! she was able to show us and teach us a lot, has patience and a great sense of humor. It was not easy for us to say goodbye. We had a great time at Sibuya Game Reserve and can recommend it 1000% and would book there again!

We cannot say enough about this reserve. We stayed in Bush Lodge and had the most amazing experience. Our ranger Caylem was amazing and went out of his way to show us and tell us about everything. The lodge was beautiful with a private swimming pool and the staff could not do more for us. Our coordinator Tyler took such good care of us. If you only go on one safari in your life, this is the one to do.
