In terms of room, setting, decor etc, Glasson is unrivalled. I love going here. It’s unique in terms of style and quirkiness. However, I’m always disappointed with the service for drinks or food. Always slow and inattentive. In any hotel, restaurant or bar, there always seems to be a supervisor/manager that you’d notice. Glasson ‘Bonnies restaurant’ or the bar looks like it’s ran by students just out of school with very little training or experience. It’s a massive let down to a hotel that has all the potential

A group of 7 of us stayed on Saturday 22nd June and we had the most amazing experince from start to finish. The staff, the decor, the food, the atmosphere, the entertainment was first class all the way. We had our dinner in Bonnies and the food was just gorgeous. The staff are all so friendly and nothing was any trouble. We will defnitely be back.

Unfortunately not worth the money , needs a deep clean and furniture very shabby , foam bursting out of lots of chairs ...... food lovely , staff lovely , grounds lovely . Just take not its a dog hotel also so lots of barking . Just in general , a lack of care and attention. And I've stayed nicer places for less . Hottub extra €40 .

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are wonderful and friendly. The heated pool outside is beautiful, as is the stylish outside bar and seating area. We were upgraded which was wonderfully kind however the phone in our room didn’t work and we could not change the temperature on the shower (it was stuck on insanely hot and we could not use). As we could not ring reception from the room we did not alert the staff of these issues until we went downstairs that evening. When checking out we reminded the staff of these isssues, which had not been rectified for us and they ensured us someone would look at it that day. This was a little too late as we were checking out. For the standard and price of the hotel we were disappointed to have basic functions of our room not working. We were also surprised that the room did not come with complementary toiletries such as body moisturiser etc.

Excellent accommodation, room was beautiful & beds so comfy, very helpful staff, amazing food great choices, hot tub, heated pool all services beyond belief. A little gem of a spot, couldn't recommend it highly enough. Can't wait for my next visit

The only good experience at this hotel was the dinner and breakfast, and the attractive location. Although this hotel came well recommended, we were disappointed on arrival. The foyer/reception area is dingy. Dark wood everywhere. Many of the seats and fabric upholstery in the reception area look as if they need a thorough cleaning. The rooms are not much better with grubby well-worn carpeting. The mini-bar items are ridiculously priced. At least the bottles of water were free.

Lovely relaxed setting, works well for mixed age groups and family events. Facilities are top class and staff are friendly. We had a large party of people and we were well looked after particularly by Irene at the front desk. If a weeding is on when you are there, best book a room away from the function area as the noise does travel.

We went for my birthday and I got a complimentary room upgrade!! Lovely balloons and a card and mini donuts too. The outdoor pool is fabulous and our absolute favourite thing. We then had dinner in Bonnie’s and food was unreal. So so good I had the hake and it was the nicest meal I had in a long time We booked the hot tub for the next day and it’s really hot and relaxing We did this after we had breakfast in the room (no extra charge) Then we checked out and the girls on reception are really friendly and helpful They let us use the changing rooms and showers because we had to go back to the pool!! We were still pottering around the hotel and grounds and went for a walk to the lake shore We had lunch and finally left!! Two teenagers in tow and they loved it too What a lovely treat ☺️ I think if you did a pool pass and lunch 🥙 day out it would be a great idea 💡 Perhaps off peak? Or limited numbers We do love the pool!!!

Hotel rooms ,bikes ,food ,fires lite everywhere in June. Magnificent golf course,hot tubs , golf range ,children’s play area, children’s fairy walk ,Everything was just perfect. What lovely friendly staff , we will be back. What a wonderful place in the centre or Ireland
