Our recent stay at The TAMARA Resort KODAIKANAL was deeply disappointing and left us feeling disrespected. The main issue arose when we were charged for a packet of chips we never consumed. Despite clearly stating we hadn’t touched it, the charge remained on our bill, and the staff's handling of the situation made us feel guilty over something trivial. This experience revealed a bigger issue: the resort seems more focused on transactions than on building trust and respect with its guests. After spending nearly 2 lakhs for six days, our concerns were dismissed, and we were never given a fair opportunity to explain our side. We had originally planned a family reunion here, but after this treatment, we’ve abandoned that idea. The lack of professionalism and transparency has soured our view of the resort. While the resort may have many guests, the staff should remember that every guest is important, and not everyone lies over a packet of chips. I strongly advise others to reconsider staying here, as poor customer service may overshadow any positives. We will not be returning and hope the management addresses these issues for future guests.
