My stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi was an unforgettable experience, mainly due to its beautiful, secluded location. The resort is nestled in nature, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are equally impressive, surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. The tranquility and overall ambiance of the resort make it an ideal getaway for those looking to rest and relax.
The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a wide variety of options that cater to different tastes and preferences.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The Jacuzzi, while relaxing, was not warm enough, which was a minor disappointment. Additionally, the Monkey Trail leading to Ao Nang, although scenic, is quite steep and can be exhausting, especially for younger or older guests, as well as the hardworking staff who frequently use it.One suggestion would be for the resort management to consider constructing a more accessible trail across the small cape along the beachfront. This would not only benefit guests of all ages but also the loyal staff who are crucial to the smooth operation of the resort. A direct walking path to Ao Nang would be much more convenient than the long-tail boat option, which is often bumpy and leads to the less significant Nopparat Thara Pier.
Despite these minor issues, Centara Grand is a lovely place to stay, and I would recommend it for those seeking a peaceful retreat in Krabi.

this hotel is not worth the money! 100%... first of all, none of the staff understands or speaks a word of English. all they do is say "ok" and that's the end of it. the service is disgusting! for four days no one cleaned the room even once, did not bring water or towels! The staff is not very friendly and hospitable! the prices in the restaurant are simply incredible! 400 baht for lettuce leaves???? not even a salad, but just lettuce leaves!!! moving in also causes a lot of problems! How is it that check-out should be at 11 a.m. and check-in at 3 p.m.? the staff requires you not to buy food or drinks from outside the hotel!! this is complete nonsense! the only good thing about this hotel is the amazing view around it!!! in itself, because of the service, staff and how the hotel is managed by the owners, its rating is 1 out of 10! I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The worst 5 star hotel I had. The hotels were not truthful in their descriptions, photos, access and conditions of the hotels. Very misleading In short, only pricing like 5star but delivery is 2 or 3 star. 1)Hotel is not accessible by car, only 1 boat servicing 192 rooms (assuming couples then ard 380 people). The boat capacity was 19, max 25-27. Not avail every hour. You .will feel trapped as you are advised to book the boat at least 3hrs in advance. The other access is monkey hike trails 2) the pier is controlled by local ***** so Grab can't come in and pick you up. Grab costs thb 80-100, but you must walk outside for 400m or so. an issue if you bring luggage or during rainy days. Tuktuk only is avail at thb 400. 3) hotel pics shows large covered balcony with daybed and extra leg room after that. If you get top floor, the ceiling cover is only 30% of the day bed length so the balcony isn't fully covered. On rainy days like now, impossible to use the balcony without getting wet. Second floor is covered but much smaller than the picture advertised. 4) hotel staff English is very limited. I asked for mosquite repellent and the answer was I need to ask my manager but no response for 2 days. 5) food is a rip off and taste really poor even for simple food 6) asset isn't well maintained eg yellowish stain in multiple spots in the swimming pools, yellow water color in front of breakfast room 7) if you need to sleep in a completely dark room, forget it. They have wooden slaps style of curtain that is very heavy and difficult to lock. Lights will come in. 8) staff service other than the technicians are very poor..not a hotel for relaxing.

Hotel staffs are very friendly and speak good english. Hotel has nice beach , variety choices of foods for breakfast. Thai foods for dinner is very delicious too. Furthermore, hotel SPA is very good too.
