I recently stayed at Mahua Baug and was extremely disappointed by the food service. As a practicing Jain, I follow a strict vegetarian diet that excludes underground vegetables, which I clearly communicated to the staff. They assured me the food labeled as “Jain” would respect my dietary requirements. However, I later discovered that the food served did not adhere to Jain standards. This experience was not only disappointing but also hurtful to my religious sentiments. It’s crucial for any resort claiming to cater to Jain guests to understand and respect these dietary rules, especially when guests are assured the food meets these standards. If you follow specific dietary practices, I would advise exercising caution when dining here. Unfortunately, my experience suggests that Mahua Baug lacks awareness and attentiveness when it comes to catering to Jain dietary needs.
