Dingo Backpackers Hostel

The mattresses were very dirty and the environment in the hostel was hostile. The hostel owner doesn't treat the volunteers (the unpaid workers) very fairly and tries to add any extra fees wherever possible. The trips offered by the hostel are also crazily overpriced.

We stayed at Dingo Hostel for 2 nights and loved it. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. There are also various tours and activities the staff organise for you if interested. Definitely recommend staying here!

Terrible value. They for every little thing once you get there, even coffee at breakfast! The tours are all really expensive. The staff are nice but the owner treats them terribly and is always hanging around watching every move. Sheets don't fit the bed and one fan for the room is not enough so was super hot

My experience at Dingo hostel was beyond awesome. The vibe, the food, the people. Everything. My biggest compliment to dingo is for their kindness when helping me advertise on their instagram a stray puppy I had found. Olya agreed Immediately to help me without hesitation. You don’t find that in many places. So for this help I am forever grateful ❤️

Dear backpacker, If you are in Kutaissi for the beautiful Nature and planning to stay in this Hostel first of all you shouldn’t sign up for the Breakfast. Breakfast starts between 9:30 and 10 am and therefore much to late if you are planning on going on a tour. Once you are back from your trip and want to take a shower you better be someone who likes cold water. But maybe you dont have a choice anyway because the toilet is occupied. Might be better after all since the mould in the bathroom wouldnt be good for your lungs. So rather go straight to bed. If you ever slept in your grandma’s house, you know what to expect of a 60 year old mattress. With little to no sleep you stand up the next morning with an aching back and just await the moment when you can leave this hostel and your memories with it behind. Ah and dont expect any accommodation by your host Riccardo: cold water, no electricity, UdSSR Matresses, no locks on private rooms and cats strolling around the kitchen: Nothing to worry about! With his cooy/paste template of a hostel he can easily hand pick his guests, so dont expect changes anytime soon for this Hostel. I leave on a positive note: the rest of the staff was kind.
