Hotel Balcony Reviews

This is a good choice for budget travelers for a one or two night stay. Hotel is in a central location (set back from the road so look out for the signs on the main street) , 2 km from Kutaisi train station and 10 minutes to city centre . The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Wifi is good, beds are comfortable, room is well heated. There is a balcony which we didn’t use but would be nice in the summer months . Breakfast was plentiful and hearty. There were two negatives for us. The balcony door didn’t lock and there were no English speaking staff on premises. I was checked in over the phone by the manager and her number is posted on the door. The next morning we were able to ask the lady who cooked our breakfast if we could store our bags for a few hours, we managed ok with translator. However if you needed help to call a taxi or for anything else this was not available, which might be an issue for some travelers . I also wasn’t sure how secure our bags were for the time we were gone, perhaps a locked cupboard or storage area would be better. Having said all that however I would stay at the hotel again because it was excellent value for money

The room is a bit small, and the soundproofing is so poor that you can hear people talking outside.

The hygiene was okay, but when I wanted to take a shower in the morning, I found that there was no hot water, and the water that had been left for a long time was still cold. I couldn't take a shower and had to give up. The bed was extremely damp and uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good, rich and fresh.

The hotel is nice. If you have a car, it doesn't matter the location.

It is more like a B&B than a hotel. It is not far from the fountain but very hidden.

It was difficult to find, poorly marked in the street. Our room was without a window. We asked for a change but it was not granted. The room was very humid, we had all our things humid and the towels never dried. Toilet flush was faulty.

Hotel Balcony is a really nice, and charming place, with kind staff, and correct rooms. It's just 600 meters from the city center, easy walk within 5-6 minutes. Most of rooms have a great balcony, with view to the cathedral. Hotel also have a pool and roof teracce. Pool is quite small, but there is, and can be enough for refreshing. Some details of the hotel is a bit run-down, but overall this place is a good choice if you stay some days in Kutaisi. Wifi OK, breakfast is more than you expect:)

Though this is a Guest House and not exactly an hotel, the hospitability of the owner - Teo makes this a wonderful place to stay. She and her family are very accommodative and would go out of the way to help you! Location is at a walking distance to most of the facilities.

The hotel is located a few steps from the main square although it is in a secluded position. Upon arrival there was no one at reception and we waited several minutes. The room we were given was on the second floor without a lift with excessively steep and dangerous stairs to climb with suitcases. The room was not large and was hot, so you had to keep the air conditioning on even at night otherwise it was a sauna. There is a small swimming pool on the roof, which is why we chose it. Breakfast can be had on the terrace overlooking the city. The breakfast is not very varied in terms of choice. All in all an honest hotel but you can find better in the city
