For me it was the best hostel yet! They let you use the washing machine and dryer for free. The rooms and places to place your belongings are big enough. I was really pleased.

Service: The hotel manager is friendly and helpful The hotel manager speaks Mandarin; The front desk service is not 24 hours a day, so before boarding the plane, we contacted the person in charge of the hotel via email and told them that we would arrive early. The person in charge responded and would arrange for us to store our luggage in advance at our estimated arrival time. Later, the actual arrival time was later than we expected, so we kept communicating with the person in charge via email and informing them of our current location. The person in charge responded to the email very quickly and informed us of the hotel password so we could enter and wait. The hotel will introduce nearby restaurants and attractions to travelers (providing paper guides), and you can purchase tickets for nearby hot springs at a relatively affordable price; Good location: very close to Arashiyama attractions (such as Togetsukyo Bridge) and convenient transportation; Facilities: Shared bathroom; there are some entertainment facilities and board games for playing; personal care products such as lotion and shampoo (Diane brand, very fragrant and lubricating) are provided.

The hostel is located very close to Hankyu Arashiyama Station! If you go for the first time, there will be someone who can speak English and Japanese to explain. I was worried because I only spoke Korean, but I spoke English very slowly. There was no problem because you explained it to me. When you first arrive, there is a password at the front door. Before checking in, please press the call bell on the right side of the front door. (I can't speak any foreign language, but I called the hotel haha) When checking in, you are given two coated cards. Front door password, dormitory room password, personal safe password It says this, so take a picture. (If you don't know the password on your way back from the bathroom, you'll be in trouble.) When checking in, the staff will tell you if the communal shower room is uncomfortable, please ask nearby. There was a public bathhouse, so I bought it for 1,000 yen because they said there was a discount! (You can borrow a bath bag. The towels are exchanged for hotel towels. If you go and rent one, it's 200 yen??) Please give it a try. Japanese hot springs (bathhouses) are always great!! There is a common living room on the first floor, and you can eat the food you bought there. (There are various types of bowls, drinking glasses, and refrigerators~) There is no elevator, so be prepared if you have a large suitcase. It's a narrow staircase. They said they would rent a bicycle, but it's a shame I couldn't ride it..ㅠ I think this is a great accommodation for traveling alone!! After a day of sightseeing in Kyoto, overnight in Arashiyama and early in the morning. Get up and take a walk from Togetsukyo to Tsukurin. It's perfect for going into downtown Osaka haha. ah! Breakfast can be enjoyed at the nearby RANZAN cafe(?). Gives you a coupon. Have a nice day!!

The second time I stayed here, I still felt like home. Not far from the famous Togetsukyo Bridge, just a short walk away. I stayed here last time I came to Arashiyama, and it was very close to Hankyu Arashiyama Station. It's not far from the scenic spots in Arashiyama. There are all kinds of facilities nearby, including small supermarkets, small restaurants and hot springs. The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic and directly gave away hot spring tickets. It’s also a good idea to have dinner at the tavern next to the B&B in the evening. I will always consider this B&B when I come to Arashiyama in the future.

The location is very convenient, just next to Hankyu Arashiyama Station. You can visit Arashiyama in the morning, noon, evening, and night. The stairs are a bit narrow, so tourists with large luggage will have a little inconvenience going up and down the stairs. The rest of the experience is very good! The bathrooms and toilets are clean and tidy, and the public areas are not dirty at all. They are as warm as home. The beds and quilts are very soft and comfortable!

I had a private room by myself during the off-season. The landlord is very nice. It was my first time visiting Japan and he introduced me a lot. Thank you so much.

I can communicate in both English and Chinese. I had a great time chatting, drinking tea and eating in the lounge on the first floor with people from different countries during my stay at night. Washing machines and dryers can also be used, just remember to buy washing powder at a nearby convenience store! You will be asked when you check in which hot springs you can go to! It can be used both outdoors and indoors, and it makes your whole body smooth. The attached breakfast is from a nearby restaurant. It’s not too salty and delicious!
