General hotel rooms have many dim orange lighting, but the main lighting of this hotel is white, so it was good. It was comfortable because I couldn't hear the noise in the next room, the upper floors and the corridor. You can rest assured that the large communal bath has a security card dedicated to women only. There were many kinds of breakfast buffets and it was very delicious. When I checked out, I was asked, ”Did you have any inconvenience in your room?”, but nothing was wrong. I heard about the inconvenience and thought it was to respond quickly. You can leave your baggage for free after check-out, so you can go sightseeing empty-handed. The only inconvenience I felt was ... If you are in a room near the JR track, it is far from the elevator to the room. It was difficult to walk with a heavy suitcase because it was quite fluffy floor material, probably because it was to improve the soundproofing of the corridor. Even if I walked normally, I felt tired feet walking on the sandy beach. The location is near Nijo Jo castle, there is a convenience store nearby, and it is within walking distance from Arashiden Shijo Omiya station to go to Arashiyama. The construction is the same as the general business hotel, and the rooms are small but cheap, so it seems to be often used in business other than sightseeing. １ There is a large bath on the floor so you can stretch your legs and take the day's fatigue. The location and cospa are good, so it is perfect for sightseeing.

This hotel is located right near the intersection of Shijo Horikawa. I checked in at midnight, but the front desk was kind and I was able to respond without a disgusting face. However, probably because it was a premise to use a large communal bath, there was only a shower booth in the room. It may be a negative for those who want to slowly soak in the bathtub in the room. Personally, I was happy with the large communal bath, so there was no problem at all. It was also good that the transportation was convenient. From the Shijo Horikawa bus stop, you can go not only to Kyoto Station, but also to famous tourist spots such as Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu-dera, Toji, Nijo Castle, Arashiyama, and you can go to Gion and downtown Kawaramachi without changing trains. You will need to change trains once, but you can also go to Nanzenji Temple and Ginkakuji Temple. If you walk a little, you will find Hankyu Omiya Station and Arashiden Shijo Omiya Station, and it is very accessible for sightseeing or business. There is a Family Mart just south of the hotel, and there are 7-Eleven ahead, so you don't have to worry about a little shopping. The accommodation fee was reasonable and it is a recommended hotel.

京都に2泊するため1ケ月前に予約しました。京都には以前2年間住み、土地勘や地下鉄、バス路線もわかっていたので、まあまあ便利な場所で、一人でも二人でも1泊素泊まり3,500円には驚きました。これで利益があるのか心配なくらい。 八条口で空港バスを下車、京都駅から五条駅まで地下鉄で1駅移動し、そこから荷物をゴロゴロして12分位でした。雨の時は厳しいですね。夕食は烏丸高辻あたりまで20分ほど歩いて行きました。歩くのが苦にならない人には、色々とお店もあるので不便はないです。一番近いコンビニはホテルを出て左に1分歩く、大宮通り角のファミリーマートです。 翌日は移動距離が長いためバスの1日券を利用しました。バス停は堀川五条(徒歩4分)、大宮五条(徒歩3分)が近いので、どの路線に乗るにも便利です。JR丹波口駅には歩いて10分ほど、阪急四条大宮駅には13分ほど、京都駅には22分ほどかかります。 フロントはアジア人でしたが、対応は問題なかったです。チェックインまで荷物を預かってもらい、その間に4階のコインランドリーで洗濯をし、コンビニで待ちました。ちなみに2階だけはエレベーターが止まらないので、階段利用になります。 ツインルームはビジネスホテルよりも広いくらいで、机も、テーブル・椅子セットもあります。電子レンジもあったので朝食に便利でした。冷蔵庫も普通に冷えるタイプのものでした。窓が開き、空気清浄機もあったので喫煙者には助かりました。 バス・トイレルームは普通に狭いです。アメニティ等は最低限しかないので、必要なものはフロントから自分で持って行きます。クローゼットに扉はないので、臭くなると困るものはバスルームにかけていました。 フロントは13時から翌朝7時までしか人はいません。チェックアウト時はフロントの箱に鍵を入れて出るだけでした。雨だったのでフロントからタクシー会社へ直通の専用電話で呼びました。 掃除が行き届いてないとかの口コミもありますし、正直言って清潔感には乏しい所もありますが、この値段なら多少のことは目をつぶっても良いのかなと感じました。

Perhaps can improve by providing a better illustration of the sightseeing attractions and types of foods available in the close proximities. Overall a very pleasant stay for me

I stayed overnight on Saturday during the autumn leaves season in late November. I was able to stay at a very good price, probably because I made a reservation quite a while ago or because it was influenced by COVID-19. Moreover, it was a new hotel, so the evaluation is high. I went by city bus, but the nearest is Keihan Gojo. It is also within walking distance from Gojo Subway Station. The type of luggage is deposited in a dedicated locker (wire lock). I was grateful to the staff without hesitation, but it would be safer to have a bag that is locked firmly. There will be few cash payments, so there will be no problem even if it is limited to cashless payments. The interior is Japanese-conscious, so it will be accepted by foreigners as well. I didn't use it because breakfast was somewhere else, but it's a bit narrow next to the lobby on the 1st floor. It's in the middle of the city, so you won't have any trouble with convenience stores or restaurants. The department stores and downtown areas of Shijo Kawaramachi are within walking distance. The room is new and easy to use and there is no problem at all. If you have a good value plan, this is the hotel you want to use next time.

A very nice hotel, very close to Kyoto City Hall Station. You can also walk to Kamogawa River. There are a lot of shopping and food in the surrounding area. There is a coffee bar in the hotel lobby, which you can enjoy for free. When you are tired from playing, there is a public bath to take a bath in, where you can comfortably relieve the fatigue of the day.
