Not That I picked up the Trip.com offer last minute, I think i would not go for this hotel.
Bad experience during check-in. I radically remember i booked a sew view front facing suite room but was denied though there are plenty sea view facing empty. Reason the hotel wanted to charge extra. Got a quote in the morning for addition MYR 50/nite (seaview) while room is not ready, back in afternoon become MYR 100/nite and again room not ready, last check-in at nite become MYR 150/nite (sea view). Very frustrated and worst during check-in, counter receptionist insist I pay ¬MYR 60+ tax (claim to be country imposed tourism tax). Only after i showed my receipt from Trip.com (tax paid) that it was resolved with just MYR 9, great difference. Very unreasonable and not guest centric, strictly by their company rules and regulation.
In the room was not fully equipped. Safe box not working and had to call maintenance. No face tower, had to call room service and no tooth brush/paste. Telephone not working, only to understand their PABX is not functioning well. If you intended to call for any room services (meal), you had to go down to reception.
The only plus is the big swimming pool. Overall not a pleasant experience with the price paid.
