BE Resort Mactan Reviews

Love this place and will definitely come back! We’ve only stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Manila. I wish I’ve booked for a few nights. The ambience was nice. My kids loved it there- the lifeguard was very proactive too. They have the best spag bolognaise and great service from the restaurant. My only negative feedback - the check in was a bit of a hassle. Check in time was 3pm which is already a bit late, I’ve checked in to find out our room was not even ready. But it was ok though because we were allowed to use the swimming pool and beach access whilst we were waiting, it would be annoying though if you just wanted to go straight to your room to lie down and rest. In saying this, I’ve seen their housekeepers working really hard as the place was understandably busy. Will 100% recommended this place to my friends and family who would travel to Cebu. :)

1. Socket Issues: All sockets in the room were not functioning properly. They did not fit all types of plugs, which created significant inconvenience when charging electronic devices. 2. Air Conditioner and Hand Soap: The air conditioner was not adequately serviced, and the hand soap bottle in the bathroom was not refilled prior to check-in, causing discomfort and inconvenience. 3. Breakfast Quality and Timeliness: The breakfast provided was insufficient, with limited options. Additionally, food refills were delayed, affecting the overall dining experience. 4. Delayed Check-In: Our check-in for one of the bedrooms was delayed, and we did not receive access to the room until 5:00 PM, causing a disruption to our schedule. Summary: These issues have negatively impacted the quality of our stay. Immediate attention and resolution are requested, particularly concerning the malfunctioning sockets, delayed check-in, and inadequate breakfast service. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Our family of four recently enjoyed a pleasant stay at BE Resort Mactan. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. We appreciated the well-equipped gym and the pool, which offered a fantastic view—perfect for relaxation. The beach chairs were comfortable, and the kids had a blast with the obstacle course, while we enjoyed snorkeling and spotting small fish and starfish. However, there were a few drawbacks: the shower water was only warm, and the sheets were not clean upon arrival. The beach sand was mixed with small pebbles, making it less comfortable, and while the private area was nice, it felt small with limited walking space. Additionally, there were people on the side of the beach selling shells and boat trips. This could have been useful but they calling out to us and approached us as we tried to relax, which disrupted the tranquil atmosphere. Despite these issues, we had an enjoyable experience and would recommend BE Resort Mactan for a family getaway!

Ny 2nd time here. Thanks to trip for the discount. And glad to see their pool is back. They need to improve their breakfast though. Some lettuce got worms

Very relaxing atmosphere. I suggest that you get a room facing away from the neighboring resort under construction.

The hotel is clean and very relaxing, and the staff is very accommodating. They make sure that we are comfortable, and we will definitely come back soon when the pool is open. Also, all of their foods are good and yummy.

I love the place even if the swimming pool is under renovation. I will go back here soon

Great hotel, good for an unwind vacation since it’s far from the main city so better stay in the hotel for the whole tome and just relax

Staff are very accommodating and always smiling, the room was so comfortable and clean, although the location was a bit too far from the city.. but quite relaxing though

The service was excellent, but the policy allowing only two guests per room with two large queen beds felt restrictive and doesn’t align with sustainability goals. It would be great if the hotel reconsidered this to better accommodate guests and reduce unnecessary resource use.
