Hotels Near Bare Essentials in Las Vegas

To all my reader's who are reading this. My stay @ the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip was too short but still a great spot to stay. Some of the features of the room that I liked was the 2 layer curtains that had one to block out the glare and the other to completely block out all light from coming in. I also like the spacious mini fridge. I put a whole pizza box in there for the leftover pizza I ate the next morning being my concert. The view of the Festival entrance was great, especially at night with all the colorful lighting. It was also walking distance to my concert. They also have a marketplace which was convenient for me to buy drinks, ice cream and pizza and more. I recommend this place if you have a nearby event by the hotel and cause its very clean in the rooms and its private but also come with glass ware, microwave and coffee machine with a sink to wash your dishes. READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING! This hotel tries to charge you double resort fee hoping you don’t notice. We were told we can express check out and just drop the key, and then they will automatically charge your credit card on file. Thank goodness we clicked into bill details at express checkout before we left and found the double charge. We had read reviews ahead of time that they double charge resort fee, but just didn’t think it could be true for a 5 star resort. We had to line up at the check out desk to inquire the situation. The manager at the check out desk, Tony was very rude and blamed it on a system glitch, which sounds like complete BS since why would it even be a possible selection to double charge a room for resort fee in the first place, it’s highly suspicious. We are extremely disappointed in this hotel, they wouldn’t even acknowledge an apology and said that even if we paid they would catch it afterwards and refund our money, lots of walking around the double charge and how it’s not their fault. Even though there’s a bunch of reviews saying the customer has called and called and the resort wouldn’t give back the double charge. If they had just apologized and said it was their mistake, it would have been okay. The manager made it seem like they were doing us a favor by reversing the double charge. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel for this obvious scam and poor service from the manager.

Good accommodation location in the middle of the ***** .This makes it easy to walk to other hotels, but the disadvantage of the hotel is that there is no refrigerator, but there is an ice maker and a beverage dispenser in the hotel corridor on every floor. Depositing your luggage after checking out of the hotel is quick, but the downside is that the waiter who collects the luggage asks for a tip both when dropping off the bag and when collecting the bag back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The STRAT Hotel, ****** & Tower, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the iconic setting. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, setting the stage for a fantastic stay. The room was modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views of the Las Vegas skyline. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge after a day of exploring the *****. The room’s amenities, including the large flat-screen TV and fast Wi-Fi, added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the incredible range of dining options available at The STRAT. Whether I was in the mood for a quick bite or a gourmet meal, there was something to satisfy every craving. The STRAT Café offered delicious, well-prepared meals, and the Top of the World restaurant provided an unparalleled dining experience with 360-degree views of Las Vegas. The ****** was lively and full of energy, offering a wide variety of games and slots to keep me entertained for hours. The hotel’s entertainment options were also top-notch, with great shows and attractions that added to the excitement of my stay. Of course, the absolute highlight was the SkyPod and the thrilling rides at the top of the tower. The views from the observation deck were simply stunning, and the adrenaline-pumping rides were an experience I’ll never forget! Overall, my stay at The STRAT Hotel, ****** & Tower was everything I could have hoped for and more. The combination of luxurious accommodations, exceptional dining, exciting entertainment, and world-class views made for an incredible Las Vegas experience. I highly recommend The STRAT to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Las Vegas, and I can’t wait to return!

Perfect place to stay. Liked that it was so convenient but a little quieter than other places. Connected to all the other hotels I wanted to get to for food or shopping so that made it super easy to come and go. Luckily it was indoor walking because it was unseasonably cold there! Would absolutely stay at the Vdara again!!! I know the hotel was super busy based on the traffic in the lobby and the conventions going on, but I heard NOTHING in my room…could have sworn my entire floor was vacant. Nice to have a fridge and microwave…didn’t use since I was alone, but would be convenient. I had a stay well room with a king bed, 35th floor and it was amazing.

My leisure,libation,fun,enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.

Really enjoyed our stay in New York New York hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights. Super clean room comfortable bed. Pool was fun and location was great. Highly recommend

No kettle or coffee machine at room. If you need hot water, need to to Starbucks or cafe to buy or ask for it freely if you are lucky. Very troubling. Need to call house keeping for Room clean up , staff may not automatically clean up your room if you not call them.

The check in process was quick and even though the hotel is huge there are plenty of signs to find your way to the right elevators and get to your room. The room was really nice, clean and the beds were comfortable. However when we went to use the shower as soon as I touched the handle it broke so I suspect the previous occupants broke it and just placed it back together. I called the front desk right away and they said someone would be right up .... we waited about half hour and then called again and spoke to someone else who said the carpenters dont work at night so no one was coming and they will fix it the next day... we were only staying the one night and she said not to worry when we checkout we wont be charged for it, but it was annoying having a broken shower handle and having to wait around for someone that obviously was never coming. Also I am still waiting for my deposit to be released so hoping they havent now charged me for what was already broken. We enjoyed the ****** and food options in the Luxor. But when we checked out the next morning they said they would help us out with some vouchers and they sold us on discounted tickets to see cirqu du solei. After we paid for the tickets we were told we would receive an extra discount/partial refund and have to pick up the tickets by going to another location and listening to a presentation. He told us not to answer any questions to make it as quick as possible so should only take an hour. I admit we thought this was strange but he told us the hotel had opened a new resort and this wad just there way of trying to get everyone to see it and hope they will stay in the new resort in the future. So we got an uber to the place and it seemed dodgy, the staff ushered us in and gave us a form to complete, I refused to tell them how much we earned and they didnt like that. So after another lady came over and tried to convince us to tell them they accepted we wouldnt tell them but they said they wouldnt give us the presentation or our gifts because of it. We filled in another form or declaration and managed to get our money back but the whole experience was horrible and was a huge scam. 100% avoid any vouchers or discounts as the hotel staff are just trying to hustle you and get all your information, it is a pyramid scheme trying to sell time shares and we were lucky we got out of it, although it was not an enjoyable part of our holiday and the uber ride there and back was a waste of money. I wouldnt stay here again. There are nicer hotels and resorts all along the ***** that are in better locations.
