The word ‘budget’ often means basic. There was no water bottle in the room. There were no pictures on the walls. There were no coffee making facilities. At day’s end, you get what you paid for. Check in went smoothly. To access your room [and the building later at night] there is an access code. The quirky bit was a bunk bed installed perpendicular to the main bed. I am sure in the dark people have hit their head on it, forgetting it was there. Let’s say a design flaw. There is a small television, desk, chair and mirror. The bathroom is all in one room, a hair/body wash dispenser for use. The best of the room was a very comfortable bed and a not so thick duvet. Not a sound sleeper, I had a good 5 hour stretch. The wifi was generally good. It is not password protected. The breakfast was rather basic but between the breads, fruit salad, yogurt, juices and coffee making there was enough. Overall the place made for a decent stay.

Fifth visit to this hotel and for the first time when booking I saw different prices for different room sizes, and chose the only 1 that had any availability when I came to book, so I knew I would not be getting a big room with balcony as I've had twice before. The air considering now seems to be in all rooms (it was only in some last time I stayed in 2019), but I do wish they would give the option of being able to use it all year round (a notice states that when the mode has been switched, I guess centrally, it is not possible to switch it back, and last time I stayed it was a warm October and the air conditioning didn't work). In steamy June it was great to have very efficient and controllable air con and the room was very comfortable for sleeping. Every room has a kitchenette which we find very useful for chilling drinks etc. We did miss the balcony for having a drink, but knew we wouldn't get this so weren't disappointed. The young chap who checked us in was very pleasant but spoke very fast French to me at check in and didn't revert to English despite my not great French, I think I should be flattered! We had some issues with our door lock which worked only intermittently. We reported it twice and the problem seems to be diagnosed by what colour light shows when the card is inserted, the problem was there was no light at all! The second time, after being totally locked out and even a very friendly housekeeper couldn't make it work, the lady from reception changed the batteries but it still didn't work reliably so she said she'd get maintenence to have a look the next day. We don't think this happened, but we did find that if we pulled the door forward before putting the key in we could get it to open. The piece of wood at the bottom of the door was loose and was a bit of a trip hazard. Housekeeping is only done every other day which was perfectly fine and when it was done it was to an amazing standard (eg sheets changed) but the coffee supplies seemed inadequate for 2 people (only 1 coffee capsule, creamer etc) , not that it was a problem for us as the machine was a bit too complicated! All in all, this was another very pleasant stay in a hotel that feels like home from home for us now!

Very recommended to stay, cost-effective, the environment is very good. Beautiful environment, good geographical location, convenient transportation, comfortable and sanitary rooms, service staff are very enthusiastic, facilities are very humane, high-speed network signal is good, the view outside the window is good. The design of the room's small pendulum is also very distinctive. Next time, check in.

Hôtel à 2km du centre des congrès le manège. Éviter la chambre 404 au 3me étage qui a un matelas de 10cm posé sur un sommier type futon, donc sans aucune souplesse. Dos douloureux à prévoir. Cette chambre est au calme, mais aucune insonorisation par rapport aux autres chambres............... La couette pour un mois de novembre est trop fine quand le chauffage n’est pas encore nécessaire. Bien les sanitaires fermés, mais très étroits. Douche avec eau bien chaude, bravo. Peu d’endroits pour ranger ses habits. Ceintres très serrés, pas du tout fonctionnels. Ils existent. Chambre très propre, coins des sanitaires vieillissants, l’eau de la douche inonde le sol car portes de douche non hermétiques. Hôtel ouvert 24/24 très bien pour arrivée tardive.

I arrived on 13th September and stayed until 19th September and had a truly marvellous stay. Reception was very welcoming and staff very friendly and more than happy to speak English because regretfully I do not speak French, always smiling and greeting no matter what time of day you were in or out. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, lovely decor, and great facilities including air con shower superb and although it seemed to be open to the room it could actually be screened off, room was serviced every day complimentary water on first day of arrival plus tea making facility. My room had a nice view out towards the Alps and the hotel itself is very central to the main centre and to travel to other places so a great location. There is a swimming pool, spa, sauna and fitness room. Lovely small lounge downstairs behind reception with complimentary coffee. Would I stay at this hotel again, yes most definitely. We stayed here for one night on 18/6. We were with a Rail Discoveries Group travelling from Paris to Milan and broke our journey in Chambery. Ideal location if using the station as the hotel is directly opposite. Easy check in and good size room and bathroom. Very pleasant bar and restaurant staff. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Very short walk into the town centre if you wish to explore. Perfect for an overnight stop.

The hotel is clean and clean, and it is clean and clean. The room is spacious with 2 single beds and a double bed, comfortable bed. No savon au lavabo, bac à douche mal nettoyé (présence de cheveux du précédent occupant), présence de mousi et surtout, toilette mal nettoyé avec une odeur d'urine. Des chambres face à l'autoroute mais bonne isolation des fenêtres. It is indicated in the description that it is close to the centre.

I had a tiny room in this huge, impersonal hotel. For the price I was expecting a better experience. My room overlooked a very unpleasant looking car park. The canopy below my room was filthy, had rubbish on it and was unkempt. The window frames were mouldy, in and outside the room (see photos). At the restaurant I asked if I could have my meal in my room. They said yes but without specifying that they was an ”eat-out” With the exception of a very helpful and friendly man in the breakfast restaurant, the hotel staff were impersonal and ineffective.
