We had to cancel our trip due to serious force-major reasons. Asked the hotel about the cancelation a week in advance, but the hotel rejected neither to cancel nor reschedule. Formally the hotel is right, but it can not be considered as a good service and customer-focus.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was spotlessly and clean creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for a restful night sleep

Clean hotel and accessible to centre. If you’re going to book for Rooftop make sure it’s suite room as the double room wasn’t that nice view in the balcony. Friendly staff in the breakfast area and to the receptionist who assist us 10th July 2024 (Wednesday) at 15:00 he’s approachable and accommodating I forgot his name he has tattoo. But a bit disappointed. Only continental breakfast you can have it if you’re in a hurry. But for hot breakfast you need to order in the menu and that’s the time they prepare it and serve for you I suggest it’s better everything is ready and hotel guest will just get it by themselves. Second one the receptionist who’s on shift at 11th July 2024 at 12:30 in the afternoon wasn’t that nice. it’s 2 ladies receptionist I pass the key on her and she just said thank you. The other lady just look at us without saying Hello. Front-desk receptionist should be accommodating. not even bother to ask us how’s our stay which should be standard to all Hotel service staff. Receptionist are the front one who promote your Business it’s just my opinion Halyard so I think it’s better to inform them.

Good location, room and service.

The best hotel in this UK trip! The designer style is so lovely! The family room for a family of four is also very comfortable to sleep in! The service is very good and the breakfast is delicious

Overall a great hotel conveniently located close to the main sites of Liverpool. Beautifully maintained and nice decorated. The front reception staff are incredibly friendly- particularly Pete who was very kind towards my elderly father. All staff are so friendly and this made the hotel stay very welcoming. The few things which would have made this five star: 1. We had a triple room which had a pull out bed which didn’t have a proper mattress and so made a very uncomfortable sleep (the hotel should invest in proper single mattresses to suit the beds) 2. The housekeeping service was poor. Despite putting a sign to say we were out the rooms didn’t get cleaned. When we did request and ask for it to be done, it was just a change of towels and the bathroom was not cleaned. 3. The restaurant service can be improved. Staff are friendly but the dinner service was slow, with us having to ask for menus, ask for drinks, go find servers as they didn’t come to you. Breakfast service was also slow, but that was more understandable as they were busy. Again, the highlight is how kind and friendly the staff are.

First class stay at The Halyard with a friendly welcome from Billy at the entrance with reception staff also being super welcoming. Rooms were ultra modern and very clean with comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and shower. We decided to eat at the restaurant and the food was perfect- tapas style small plates. Staff in the bar and restaurant were again very friendly and this added to a lovely stay and would definitely return again! Location brilliant with The Monroe opposite for a nice drink also. I am from Liverpool myself and would say the staff here are the best from any other hotel I have stayed at in the city from The Hilton to Indigo & The Malmaison, Halyard is at the top of our list! Very impressed!

Our second time staying at the beautiful Halyard Hotel! Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Beautiful rooms, reception, lounge, bar and restaurant. Breakfast is plentiful and the meals at Voyager are gorgeous. But what really makes this hotel 5 star is the hospitality and customer service. The staff here are fabulous. From Billy at the front desk who couldn’t do enough for us to Carlos at the bar who made sure we always had a refill. I’m sure we will be back to our favourite hotel in Liverpool.

Stayed for a weekend and had the best time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was stylish and the bar was excellent. The bar staff brought water and nibbles and knew our drink of choice on the second day, asking if we wanted our usual!

Loved this hotel, from the minute you arrive, everything was great. Lovely staff, food and drinks, rooms were so comfortable, beautiful fluffy towels and comfy beds. No noise from outside even though room was on the road side. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend for a Liverpool stay

Stayed in this hotel on the 16th August. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Everything about it from location, to staff, to cleanliness was perfect. A special shout out to Pete, he gave us a warm welcome when we arrived, and was able to recommend some great bars to us before heading out. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will definitely be staying again when I’m back in Liverpool.

I have just returned from a weekend stay with friends. The hotel is lovely. A great location for a city break. All facilities were first-class. Very comfortable rooms with good amenities, great bar and restaurant. The hotels best asset is it's staff. Looking forward to returning later in the year.

A new hotel in Liverpool city centre and you are made to feel welcome from the minute you walk into the hotel. The guest rooms are well appointed and spacious. The hotel is a five minute walk into the city centre and there are plenty of options for both eating and drink around the hotel.
