Best Western Northfields Ealing Hotel

The location is remote, except for a small supermarket, there is basically no business; no disposable toiletries are provided; if the quality of sleep is poor, it is not recommended to stay; there will always be train sound (it seems to end around 12 o'clock, and it starts again at 4 o'clock in the morning); The biggest advantage is the convenient transportation, just opposite the exit of Northfield Station on the Piccadilly Line, and it seems to be 6,7 stops to Heathrow Airport (within 20 minutes); There are about 10 stops to the city (about 30 minutes to King's Cross). In addition, breakfast is an unexpected surprise, 7 pounds, buffet breakfast, beverage coffee, bread, fruit, cakes, etc. are very complete, this breakfast is good value for money, it is recommended to buy when checking in (buy 9 pounds on the spot)

I stayed here as I had work commitments nearby and it was convenient. I must admit, I usually only stay at 5 star hotels however there was nothing else available. That being said, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, the customer service was excellent and room service prompt. The car parking was excellent value for money and allowed for you to leave and come back as you please. The downside was perhaps the the dark carpets and the low ceilings making it feel a bit closed in. The lift/elevator also reminded me of being in a hospital - needs updating. However, I’ve stayed at 5 stars and have had bad customer service, slow phone responses when contacting front desk, hairs in the room, dust on sideboards..etc. Overall I was impressed with not having any issues in any of these areas!

Great value for money Booked with *********** as in London for the weekend. Had stayed here 5 years ago and remember it being fine. Single room with ensuite, decent size. Fairly easy to find and a short walk from Ealing Broadway. Had a couple of beers in the pub and it is nice, breakfast was continental only but passable. Two complaints about room 1, I couldn't get the TV to work and nothing happened after I spoke to the barman. In fairness it was closing time in the pub and I should have checked it on arrival, I was in a rush to get to the theatre (easy to get to central London on the Elizabeth line). Also the dial on the shower was broken and I couldn't adjust the temperature but it was fine, not too hot or cold. However it was brilliant value for the price I paid and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the Ealing Boardway subway station. It belongs to the center of this area, but it is not as crowded as Zone 1 / 2. There are many high-rated restaurants nearby, and there are also many large and small supermarkets. The convenience of life is very high. The hotel opened in 2018, so it feels new and the room size is much bigger than those hotels near central London, would consider this area when I come back to London.

Family of 4 (2 kids under 2), as family people are aware, kids are not too predictable. The youngest had a poonami at 1pm while we were getting ready to go out for the afternoon (the time is essential for this review). As we were leaving I left a request that the room be cleaned due to the incident and the floor hoovered as it had not been done yet. Firstly, they mentioned they clean and change the rooms every 5 days. Due to us staying for only 2 days, does that mean someone else has slept in these sheets before us and not changed? Second - they said I should have told them before midday to clean the room so they can book it in with the cleaning team. So I need to plan when my kid is gonna explode is what I’m being told in essence. Third point - when we came back to the room in the evening it was very entertaining to see they had come to the room, the floor was not vacuumed as it was still as dirty as when we checked in, and the beds were made, showing the result of the youngest kids antics like it was a peice of art in the middle of the bed. When you have 2 young kids who are moaning as they have just been awoken to get back into the hotel as well as an overstimulated mother of 2. Not fun being the ear at the end of all 3 of them. One thing I will say which was good - the breakfast staff were great, couldn’t have asked for better catering management.
