The service and facilities available at city gate is second to none. I was very pleased with my booking and will definitely be booking another stay. I would like to thank niko for his great hospitality and service he provided.

The rooms are small, the internet is shocking, Tv doesn't work. The floorboards are so loud that anytime anybody moves you can hear it, the walls are paper thin. No sinks for water. Would not stay again.

I stayed for two nights while at a work conference. I slept very well both nights. The room was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. I was a bit worried abour the shared bathroom but it was fine. I would stay again. The staff were friendly.

Room was fine, good location however biggest issue was that around 1am whilst we were asleep (we are two young girls on our own) a male staff member got into our room despite it being locked, not only terrifying us but waking us up and making us feel unsafe. With no explanation at the time or the next morning! Wouldn’t recommend for young women staying on their own.

at around one in the morning myself and my friend (both 18 year old girls) were awoken by a male staff member using a key to enter our previously locked room both waking us and making us feel highly unsafe. we were provided no explanation as to his unwanted presence as he left abruptly after i screamed. when we tried to find someone to question the following morning no staff was to be found. An altogether unnerving stay. Hotel itself was fine yet i highly reccomend to avoid.

Arrived reception staff were lovely and friendly don’t read all the negatives on this place it was spotless clean not a spec of dust. We were in a location with 3 other rooms So we had to share a bathroom And toilet but again so clean. Great location to travel around London underground was a five minute walk
