Pros Not too bad a location, can get a little uncomfortable at night for solo travellers while heading back as there are few people loitering around. Smart rooms, control panel control the lights and the signs for the door. Compact room but it's cosy for one. Cons (scary encounter) Someone rang my doorbell and tried to force open the room door in the middle of the night. Luckily i locked it from the inside and door couldn't be opened. It happened twice within the same night. There was no room phone so i had to call the hotel from my own mobile, and feeling puzzled, 2 staff came up to my room to clarify. They then told me a drunk 'guest' was 'assisted' to come up the hotel rooms, but she had actually went to the wrong hotel. Weird explanation, because firstly, a room key is needed to access the lift. Secondly, if the person who assisted the drunk guest is a hotel staff who owns a master key since he's able to access the lift, he should've verify her identity prior to allowing the guest up the rooms premises. Its a safety concern. What if I did not lock the room door from the inside? The drunk guest could have just barged in and i as a female, was staying alone. Lastly, there was no kettle, only 2 bottles of water.

Perfect place to stay one night but not more. The room is well designed with useful features but as I mentioned it's very claustrophobic and for a long time can be depressing.

Another great stay at this Hub. Staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are great and perfect for a getaway. It's in an Ideal location for everything you need, tube stations, food, drink and entertainment, only a short tube into the centre of the city.

Our daughter booked this nice hotel for the six of us. She stayed here already twice. We enjoyed our stay so much. The staff is so nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the right size with a modern bathroom. The hotel is in the center of amazing Spitalfield. Late in the evening it was easy to reach the Sky Garden on foot to enjoy the fantastic view of London by night.

To some, this is going to sound petty. But for someone who uses hotels like this regularly, I am astonished at the out of date technology, regarding TV and casting, in hotel rooms. We tried to cast a favourite programme from both an Android phone and an iPhone, for over an hour, without success. It's the 21st century - this should all be so much easier.

Never written a review before but my mum insisted. It must be the 5 th time i have booked to stop there and it is my first choice if ever we have a trip to London. Four of us stayed there in August to celebrate my mums 80th birthday. Once again the hotel and staff did not disappoint. Realising it was my mums birthday (without prompting ) we were given a complimentary bottle of wine in an ice bucket to share in the cafe area and she was given a free breakfast also ( which had we paid would not have been an issue as i think the cost of the breakfast is very reasonable ). I can have no complaints about the hotel, the rooms and communal areas are fabulous and the location is perfect.

This is a cute little hotel in great location. Just downt the street from Spitalfields Market and Liverpool Street. Could walk just about to any place I needed. Many restaurants right outside the door. My room was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. There was no fridge in the room but not a deal breaker, the bed was comy as well. I would stay here again and recommend.
