Hotels in Paddington, London

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Executive lounge was good, with lots of typical morning choices, clean and well attended by staff. Did not use lounge in the evenings. Very friendly lobby bar with excellent martinis. Had a pizza at the lobby bar one night which was marginal and undercooked. Hotel is in a fair location for shopping and is walkable to Paddington Station. Lots of food choices including a gaggle of Pakistani restraints along Edgware Road, more toward Hyde Park. Overall a nice stay and well worth a return visit.

We are so glad we chose Wilde apartment hotel in the Paddington district. Wonderful staff, really service-friendly and caring about the guests. The hotel is in a nice area and it was easy to get to our planned activities in the city. If we ever return to London, we will stay at Wilde. A big thank you from two parents and two teenage girls.

The enviorment is nice and the location is pefectly good for traveller. The service provided by staff , front desk, and cleaner are good. Spacious room and nice furniture. Would stay again when coming to London next time.

Stayed for 2 nights with my 2 sons in a triple room. The location is excellent for visiting all London sights. The staff were very helpful and even showed us three potential rooms so that we could choose the one we preferred. The room was a decent size with a nice bathroom. The only aspect that wasn't of top standard was the breakfast which did not have a large choice of English / Continental options. However I would happily stay here again when next in London.

Very good service. Clean, good breakfast. Situated in center of London, very close to Paddington rail station and subway. You can get whatever you want very easy. Nice surroundings. Compliments to Bogdan from reception.

We stayed 3 nights here, first night the rooms were wrong, after going to reception the ignorant woman behind reception was no help. Her male colleague changed the rooms on day 2. All 4 rooms were dumps, not fit for 1 star. Our room in the basement was directly above the tube line, you could hear it travelling every few minutes. Health and safety doesn't exist here. Breakfast is basic, no hot food and the milk was sour and stored in a flask. Everywhere except reception is filthy. The bar was closed for 2 of the 3 days we spent here as the barman did not turn up for work and nobody else was authorised to open the bar including the manager. 10 pounds charge to store your luggage while you wait to get checked in!!! While passing through reception at various times we heard at least 6 people complaining about the rooms they had been allocated. Nothing matches the photos online. Windows unlockable, safes not working, corroded tap in the ”newly refurbished bathroom”, showers blocked. Well over priced for what it is. This place is not a hotel!! Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option.

We were only in London for a couple of days and did not intend to stay in the hotel much. Point A in Paddington fit the bill--convenient location, without the typical back-breaking hotel rates in a major city. It was obvious the hotel was renovated fairly recently. Our room was comfortable but tiny! Even smaller than our cruise ship cabin, because there is no closet. This means no good place to put your luggage either. And it was windowless--again a first for us for hotel rooms. Just like our cruise cabin! Fortunately we were there only to sleep and bath. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. We didn't try their breakfast (which was extra cost). Instead, we found wonderful eateries within walking distance. There was a weird glitch in their system that canceled our key cards on the day of check (while we were out for breakfast), even though we hadn't checked out yet! The hotel provided wi-fi, which connected quickly and reliably. We were very grateful for that!

Lovely traditional hotel. On our arrival we were greeted straight away reception staff were attentive and we were upgraded to a beautiful room with a Lounge and balcony. The room was Very well presented your feet sank into the carpet, bed was very very comfortable and the pillows were fabulously soft. Tea and coffee provided also a fridge for you to chill your drinks or keep food fresh. Beautiful robes in the bathroom with his and hers sink bath and shower. A separate toilet. A wonderful nights sleep as the area is very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic freshly cooked to order and served to table with a pot of hot tea or coffee, there were also fresh pastries, freshly squeezed fruit juices cold meat’s cheese all you could want and the staff were great nothing was to much trouble. We have booked again to stay in May. For me this hotel ticked all the boxes and then some If I was going to pick flies the only thing I could pick out would be the lifts we only used them once, we used the stairs after that which helped me walk my breakfast off.

The location is very close to Paddington train station and subway station, there are Big Bus and Golden Bus Tour stations nearby, and there is Hyde Park walking south. Drinks, tea bags, and biscuits are all free. The room space is small and it will be very narrow with a large suitcase. When you check-out, just put the door card in the small box at the counter. Overall, the location and service are very convenient.

The hotel is next to Paddington Station, close to the Hammersmith Circle Line entrance, across the river. The room is bigger than expected, the box can be opened enough, and the umbrella can be opened. Overall, the price/performance ratio is good, a bit cheaper than the one in Paddington. Facilities: The place where the room card is inserted is not sensitive, the bathroom has a little smell and I don't know where the exhaust fan switch is, and the sofa is very soft. Service: One guy at the front desk was okay, but the other guy looked coldly at taking the suitcase from the luggage rack and didn't help.
