Very helpful owner who is the 6th owner of the Fuyulou (Fuyu Building). I suggest you shall book the hotel first before you book for any other tour arrangement at tulou. The hotel owner will be able to provide a very personalised tour arrangement with reasonable price and with local advise. Hotel is clean and feels like home. Food is good too at the hotel. We had our dinner every night at the hotel. Very highly recommended stay, food and tour.

Nice and comfortable stay. The Inn owner is kind and hospitable. He also help to arrange transport to and from Xiamen and the visit the nearby scenic areas.

We stayed for three nights and really felt at home right away. Very friendly hosts. He organized daytrips according to our wishes. Could lend bikes to get around the village. There are Lightshows and drones at night. Kids enjoyed as well very much ☺️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Stephen and his family who run this beautiful historic rustic inn. Our room was simple but clean and warm - we were very happy. Stephen was also amazing help with arranging our touring around the tulou sites nearby as well as getting us to and from Xiamen. A stress free streamlined experience. Also can I compliment the craft beers in the fridge! And Italian coffee for breakfast. Happy customers :)

This was my second visit in three years, I stayed four nights and loved every moment. It has the feeling of being among family...the family is gracious and helpful and never seem to tire of caring for their guests. The tulou is absolutely amazing...picturesque both day and night. The interior has all the quirks of a building from two centuries ago which makes for a great ambiance. The area is quiet and peaceful and very walkable to the center of the village. Food is varied and all of it is delicious. Stephen easily arranges safe drivers to take you anywhere you would like to see. Wonderful place and well worth the money.

I'm so happy to be upgraded! I took my retired parents to the Tulou for a self-driving tour. I am especially grateful for the hospitality of the fifth and sixth generation owners, who made me feel at home. Facilities: The room is decorated in a simple and generous style. I like the style very much. It's so rare to have a private bathroom in a Tulou. Environment: Superb~ The complete three-entry courtyard is so comfortable. Hygiene: Very good in horizontal comparison. Service: If the full score is 100, I am willing to give 105 points. I am not afraid of the owner's pride if I give 5 more points. In addition, the clay pot chicken soup and white-cut duck are super delicious, recommended~

A very amazing homestay, in a century-old earth building in the scenic area, the owner's family of four generations are very welcoming, and the dishes are also delicious! It is clean and hygienic, using disposable face and bath towels. Thumbs up 👍The owner, who was born in the 80s, is low-key and has high emotional intelligence.

I personally feel that this is the best homestay in the scenic area. The owner is very enthusiastic and the service is also very good. The most important thing is that you are staying in a national key cultural relic protection unit! This experience is rare. As for the location, I think it is very good, both in the scenic area and away from the noisy center.

Living in a tulou is a very special experience. The twin room is a bit small, but the boss upgraded it to a double room. We also booked a suite, which is an entire floor on the top floor. Both rooms are relatively large, but the bathroom in one room is not convenient for the other room. The Hakka noodles for breakfast taste great.

The boss is very enthusiastic. The boss's home-cooked dishes are very delicious. Hakka tofu and fish are very delicious. The chicken soup is very good. There is no fishy smell at all, and it is full of fresh fragrance! 👍It’s different from anything I’ve had before! The accommodation environment is also very good. I had an in-depth experience of the Hakka flavor 👍👍😉. I gave the children some cannons and they had a great time. There was also a group of friends who had a great time 😅. Very few comments. Visiting Tulou and staying in Tulou, the experience of living in a century-old building is awesome! The landlord's family is sincere, thoughtful and enthusiastic in service. It is not only doing business, but also protecting and promoting intangible cultural heritage.

The room is antique, clean and hygienic. I brought my children here to play. The children started walking and marveling as soon as they entered the courtyard door. It is all wooden mortise and tenon structure, worthy of being an earth building of intangible materialized heritage. Our room is on the fifth floor and overlooks the whole courtyard. It is quiet and elegant, a paradise on earth. The boss's father, the boss, and the boss's wife are kind and enthusiastic. They made tea for us and took us to set off fireworks. The food is delicious, especially the noodles in the morning. We all finished them. It was really delicious. I will come again if I have the chance. I will stay for a few more days to experience the leisurely and relaxing time here!

The earth buildings that are more than 400 years old are still well maintained. They were built by the fourth-rank officials in the Qing Dynasty and are grand in scale. The check-in experience was also very good. The boss's service attitude was very good. He personally drove to the entrance of the scenic spot and took us in. The food cooked by the boss is also good, especially the chicken soup is delicious.
