It has free parking and is in a good position in the centre of Malton. It is very good value for money and I will stay there again

Toilettes didnt work, were then blocked, and we had to use the one from the pub which was no nice experience

If you want to know just how bad a pub can be - atmosphere, food, drink, staff etc etc - then visit the New Globe in the ‘Food Capital of Yorkshire’. It will reset all your previous experiences. It really is horrible. Empty, dirty and (no really) threatening. Avoid at all costs.

The room is basic, but clean, warm and comfortable. Single glazed windows don't keep much of the road noise out but, had it not been for karaoke (which I was warned about and finished at a sensible time) I wouldn't have heard the pub. For the price, certainly can't grumble. Only main gripe was the fire exit sign, which I'm sure is far brighter than it needs to be. Bring shower gel!
