Karma Chalets

A good view but little wildlife. Good space and well equipped but the threat of fines for any perceived misdemeanour or oversight was a bit daunting.

We had a lovely week in the Denmark forest in the Wonder chalet, with spectacular views out over the green paddocks and hills to the Wilson Inlet. Our chalet was very clean with nice comfy beds, and the kitchen had everything we needed and a barbecue on the balcony. The river and beaches were close by to explore and lots of places to eat in the area, as well as wineries, a honey farm etc. (Don't forget to try "The Dam") Thank you to our great Karma hosts Karen and Ian who were most welcoming and helpful. Another great stay at Karma Chalets. It is hard to find a quiet peaceful place like Karma Chalets which is why my wife and I have stayed there on three different occasions. The only negative thing about Karma Chalets is the loud petrol-powered leaf blower which they use to clear leaves from the long driveway into the complex. I have noticed the loud petrol blower on other occasions and unfortunately, it was being used for approximately 2 hours from 10:00am until just before lunch time, and then again for a short time after lunch. The above-mentioned noise would not stop us from staying at Karm Chalets again, but it would be good if they purchased a good quality battery-operated industrial leaf blower so as not to disturb guests for an unreasonable amount of time. There are very good battery-operated petrol equivalent units available for under $2,000 and I believe it would be a good investment for Karma Chalets

Lovely location! You need a vehicle to get to shops, beaches and attractions. We stayed in the Tranquility chalet as it was the only one available for our 10 night stay. It was very comfortable, and provided all we needed and more! It's a beautiful, quiet location with great views. Our chalet was built I'm guessing maybe in the 90's judging by the style, it's in very good condition. There is tea, coffee and milk on arrival, but it is not replenished, so you do need to provide your own. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a gas bbq on the verandah, which we didn't use. There is a complimentary guest laundry, which is a nice bonus for a longer stay. Limited internet connection, not bad on the verandah, but not inside the chalet.

Cabins are beautiful, quiet with the most fabulous views. Very well equipped with all the comforts of home. Close to town. Exceptionally clean on arrival. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend and good value for money.

The chalets are located in a very peaceful setting but with easy access to town and to all the local attractions. Prior to arrival we had reservations about staying in a log cabin based on experiences from several decades ago, however, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, spaciousness and general feel of the interior which was also very comfortable. This is possibly the first rental we’ve stayed in where we haven’t had to spend time cleaning the bbq before we could use it! The hosts were really friendly and helpful and we would be more than happy to stay here again. The local tourist info hub was excellent and a great way to get help with making the most of your stay. It’s also a good place to pick up phone signal which is a little sparse in the general area.

First time staying and hope to be back again. Lovely log cabin that is spacious, clean and has everthing you need. Comfortable bed and decent pillows. I might be mistaken but think it even had an electric blanket. Scottish couple - were we come from even the polar bears were scarves. We did use the electric blanket or need it. Very handy abd short drive to Denmark town. Excellent and look forward to coming again with our grand daughters (from polar bear land).

Amazing long weekend staycay! Perfect location, very relaxing with lots of little cute extras! Perfect for a getaway away from the hustle and bustle and close to Denmark, Albany and lots of attractions and wineries! Will be back again and highly recommend :)
