Akra Sorgun Tui Blue Sensatori - All Inclusive

This is our second time at the hotel, firstly in 2018 in the adults area and now with our 2yr old in a 2 bed family room. We had a wonderful time and have already rebooked for 2025! Sept didn’t feel busy and there’s plenty of free sun beds throughout the day. The food is amazing and the service is great. Everything is super clean and the attention to detail is brilliant. The family entertainment was perfect with mini disco and T Bots after dinner. Couple of small things if you are thinking of booking: Evening entertainment is on until 11.30pm, it is quite loud including from the next door hotel, but it didn’t stop our toddler sleeping The child buffet is brilliant and has plastic plates but no plastic beakers / cutlery - pack your own The allergy marking on all buffet items is comprehensive but not always consistent eg some days the same Margherita pizza was marked as having egg and some days it wasn’t (same with other items especially the desserts). All of the pasta is marked as egg (guessing it must be fresh rather than dried) so a bit limiting if you have a pasta mad toddler with an egg allergy. Definitely book a private transfer, we did this as an add on to our tui booking (it was a minivan) and requested a car seat which was already fitted on arrival. Suggestion to hotel management: Although there’s signs that young children need to wear nappies in the pool some parents choose to ignore them. So there could do with a member of the team to keep an eye out to avoid the pool being closed with floaters! Thank you for a fantastic stay - see you next year

Excellent food,staff and reception. We have stayed here many times and always enjoyed it but this year with the new layouts and decor it just made it that little bit better. The food was absolutely brilliant and some of the specialties nights were above and beyond. The tui entertainment group were so much better than in previous years and we actually watched some of the shows for a change also the stand alone singers ie Elizabeth, Victor and others were great entertainment. My only gripe was the music in the clubhouse bar was well very weak singers but good as musicians. There was a great looking Retro event planned with lots of thing to look at and we were really looking forward to the music 🎶 ie 70s & 80s by the looks of the backdrop the only problem was now one told the DJ and he played very up to date stuff and completely lost the crowd which was such a shame. We are going back next year but may not go to the clubhouse bar. Like to shout out to Metin,Omer and Mustafa in the clubhouse bar and many many more and the reception staff.

The Staff are the beating heart of this hotel They make you welcome,make your holiday special ,remember you They are the reason so many guests return Nothing is too much trouble - if something isn't quite right or you need help just ask. The renovations have made the hotel more modern, like others we miss the Butterfly Bar an escape zone for adults and the perfect area for the silent disco, it doesn't work at the clubhouse. Love the new toiletries, fridges and snacks in the rooms - could do with more storage - dressing table and bedside tables don't hold anything now. The new air con system really needs sorting Having visited regularly for over 7 years it's only this year we've had issues in May and this visit One night we had no air con in our room where the temperature was 28 degrees , Also in the lobby bar some evenings the air con units dripped water on us or it was just not working making the area very hot. New water coolers for drinking water - appreciate the need to reduce plastic but the taste is metally water is not very cold, plastic glasses being used are so small you constantly need to refill Despite asking management and staff unclear where water is sourced from, how often filters are cleaned also how often the actual outlet units are cleaned - regularly saw guests touching them and using their own refillable bottles, germs grown quickly for us these are a potential health hazard. Food - buffet this year the best ever so much variety, so good we actually preferred it to some of the included a la cartes where sadly menus and the actual food was not as good as previous years Aqua amazing food and service thank you Ugur a fab evening. Tarcin great addition and food but please allow guests to sit down, get a drink and look at the menu before bringing the appetizer Not sure how but something needs to be done in main restaurant re children touching deserts licking their fingers then touching more deserts - disgusting and health issue Entertainment Oktoberfest celebrations bigger and better every year fantastic afternoon great fun. Loved all the bands at clubhouse especially Molf - please ask Rusty West to change their set it's been the same songs for 3 years Victor Mike and Elizabeth fab singers- again please sing some different songs it does get repetitive over a holiday Local acts brought in - diverse and entertaining Tribute acts Whitney and Tina absolutely the best wish all were as good Beach and Retro party amazing decorations just wish music had been more retro. One thing to note guests do not need their ears blown out - turn the volume down a bit for Lobby and Clubhouse Courtesy Room Great showers lockers hairdryers for guests departing please could a few mirrors be added to the walls near the couches for us ladies to do make up away from the shower area. Already booked for 2025 when we hope to see lots of repeat guests again. We hope the amazing staff remain, sadly many said it might be their last year - management

We recently returned from a week at Akra Sorgun in Side, and once again, it was a holiday full of fun and relaxation. The resort continues to be a favourite of ours, and much of that is thanks to the incredible staff. The biggest plus of this hotel has to be the people—many of them remembered us from the year before and made the experience feel like a homecoming. Their friendliness and helpfulness set the tone for a truly memorable stay. The Location: Akra Sorgun is perfectly situated just outside the ancient city of Side. The Resort: The resort itself is sleek and modern Our room offered a stunning view of the sea. Waking up to the view of the ocean each morning was lovely. Service and Hospitality: The staff are the heart of this hotel. It’s not often that you return somewhere and feel so warmly welcomed back, but here, they remembered us by name from our previous stay. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive to every detail, always ready with a smile and eager to assist in any way. It’s this personal touch that sets Akra Sorgun apart from other resorts we’ve visited. Food and Dining: As expected, the food didn’t disappoint. The breakfast buffet is an impressive spread with something for everyone, and the iced coffees offered to you around the pool side were fabulous. Dining in the evenings, there are lots of options to choose from and also bbq twice a week. One of the more unique moments during our stay came one evening we had a party on the beach with an amazing dj Aysall It was an unexpected and amazing night lots of dancing and fabulous cocktails. A few negatives for us was the entertainment this year down on the boardwalk. It wasn’t anywhere near as good as last year. They had a singer called victor in the lobby bar 11 - 11.45 pm ( he was fab but wasn’t really on long enough Last year they had a little club called the butterfly lounge upstairs near the lobby bar where you could dance the night away after 12. this is now a coffee shop where you can take out a coffee but you can’t take out anything to eat. There are lots of little chocolates to eat and little macaroons and eclairs. But they won’t let you take them out. So you have to stay there if you fancy anything to eat. It’s a shop and also a library. It’s got no sole about it. I think it was a massive mistake to remove the night club. As the entertainment finished at 12.pm. This really added to the fun of our holiday last year we were really sad this wasn’t there this year. So if you want a late night dance and a drink you can’t. There is nothing to do after midnight. This was a big deal for us and that’s what made our previous stay amazing . We had the best times in there. Conclusion: Our week at Akra Sorgun was full of fun and relaxation, The resort is beautiful, the location is perfect, but it’s the staff that truly makes this place special. Our stay at this hotel has been amazing ( still currently here). The staff are incredible, so attentive. We have absolutely loved the live singing around the adult pool everyday especially Elizabeth, Viktor and Mike have also been great - hope they’re all here next year when we return!! The bar staff have been great and we haven’t had a bad drink, even the gardeners speak to us each day, everyone is so friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Going home in five nights and will be sorry to leave.

5th visit and better than ever. Every year money has been spent to improve something. Our room this time was better than IKOS and Sandals ; Restaurants excellent. Omar back. The only hotel we have visited more than once - back next year. Amazing place

We could not fault this hotel. Everything was excellent, from our accommodation, food, the gardens, pools and atmosphere. Although the hotel was busy, the feeling was laid back and calm. Very relaxing. The staff were all excellent, very helpful and polite. We travelled on the local bus (dolmus ) to Side for the Roman ruins, which are incredible, and also to Manavgat for the market. We did not change our money to Turkish Lira, but used Euros instead. Perhaps it was a little more expensive but everything is priced in Euros and the bus trips were €1 per person one way. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Where to start-truly amazing resort❤️From the beautiful refurbished rooms, the gorgeous grounds and pool areas, there was truly nothing you could find fault with. The restaurants were all of an excellent standard, we loved the pide station on the beach, the cocktails and drinks which included all branded spirits, served by wonderful attentive staff who are a credit to the hotel. We had a beach cabana when we were there, food delivered and drinks flowing whilst looking out onto the sea-heaven!!! In short I can’t recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely be back.
